Pool and hot tub were good. I liked that our room had two queens and a pull out. Gave our daughters the option to sleep apart.

Picked this hotel due to it's proximity to the gay strip. It's easily walkable; other public transit is close by. Hotel is fine, pretty clean. Bathrooms are a bit small and the room was extremely dark even with the blinds open. The blinds also fell down halfway through our stay but we managed to put them back up. Price was...

The location is good if you want to be close to down town. Parking is good and the hotel staff was nice and helpful. The room was however not living up to the standard expected. Dirty carpets, cobwebs and dirt in corners window shades dirty, trash in the trash-can on arrival... We almost decided to find another hotel - had...

The room is very nice, clean, and the staff are very friendly. it's located near the shopping area, the outlet is just across the hotel. But don't expect that you can walk from the hotel to the falls because it's 3.5 miles away. The downside is we had to pay for parking, 3 days and 2 nights for $40 (plus...

We came to Toronto with high expectations, after hearing about the nice and forthcoming Canadians. We might have been really unlucky with who we met, but the only good impression we got was from Hard Rock Cafe. The people in the front desk were helpful but not very friendly! The rooms were very clean. And the breakfast was good. Still...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
