Neighbourhood
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

Great location, close to lots of restaurants, a park across the street, a pool, and friendly staff! Love coming here! It was our second time here with our kids and definitely will return with family again!

Spent one night for a training session. Although a bit further away from downtown/island airport then I'm used to, it was well located for visiting the Bloor/Yonge area. There is no room service, but there was an on-site restaurant for a breakfast. WIFI was nice and fast.

I stayed for a conference for 3 nights with my husband. My initial reaction to our room was that I felt the carpets need to be re-done as they were warped, stretched, and stained, and overall looked dirty and gross. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean. The room was

The only negative about this hotel is not enough power outlets in the room. It is a bit dated and not enough counter space for make up bag but otherwise this is a lovely hotel and I always have a great experience.

Was Quoted less money when I booked than what I was charged, was told I would get credit back upon check out and did NOT get the credit. Customer service was terrible. $420+ for 1 night stay - had no heat control so was sweating all night with no windows to open.

Not sure but they seem very accommodating and I am sure they will help in any way they can.

Paid via a booking site - in advance. Just as well after the ££ free fall post Brexit, which occurred between our booking and our holiday.

Toronto is not a big place. The walk from this hotel to the water front is about 30 mins. I would not stay here again. I would stay in the hilton. If I visit again. This hotel really does need a lot of money spent on it
