At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

Not far from the busier thoroughfares of Church and certainly Yonge Streets, this mid-size hotel has a lot to offer and some things that could be improved. The location is just far enough and close enough to the busier parts of Toronto to allow some peace and quiet but just a

Suite room 301. I booked this hotel with some apprehension after staying there a few years ago. I should have stuck with my initial thought this is still a party place. I booked a suite for my mother's 79th birthday and was shocked that Wyndham would allow this hotel to be

Nice hotel, quiet rooms. The building shows its age, but everything was clean and the service was good. We will come back and stay again, the location is central and it has underground parking. Nice place.

Great place - you can tell they have made some updates and kept some of the original beautiful features. Key card lock after hours so don’t forget your key. Most spacious ‘regular’ room I’ve stayed at in Toronto, which featured 2 queen beds, a pill our love seat, comfy chair,

Not sure but they seem very accommodating and I am sure they will help in any way they can.

Paid via a booking site - in advance. Just as well after the ££ free fall post Brexit, which occurred between our booking and our holiday.

Toronto is not a big place. The walk from this hotel to the water front is about 30 mins. I would not stay here again. I would stay in the hilton. If I visit again. This hotel really does need a lot of money spent on it
