I come to this hotel for 1 weekend every year in the fall. The staff are great, Geoff is my favourite and the GM is extremely hospitable. We're already planning to return this coming fall. Typically, we try arrive with ~40+ rooms booked.

We stayed one night when all hotels in the downtown core were full. Nothing to write home about but it was clean and the staff reasonably friendly. If you need a one or two night place to crash while you see the city it should do. Free parking and internet are provided, but as a lot of other reviews say,...

My brother and I stayed at this hotel on Friday, Feb 5th as we were stopping off for the night on our way to Ottawa. Considering the location (Beaches) of the hotel, we assumed the Days Inn would be reasonable in terms of upkeep. We were shocked with the upkeep of our room. We were fairly certain there were small...

mattwhitehead1010 I have read your review. I am truly sorry about all your experiences. If the room was as bad as you said it was, bringing this to my attention at the time of check in would have been the proper thing to do. I cant do anything for you now. Things do go wrong but never to the extent...

Bad smell, rotting stair cases with peeled paint, out dated furniture, dried blood on toilet seat, shower floor, shower ceiling, and even on a towel. Can't believe this is part of the days inn chain. Disgusting. Shocked to find this in the Beaches.

First room HVAC unit malfunctioned. Was moved to another room and the HVAC unit also failed. Moved to another room, HVAC worked in this room, bed not very comfortable, lacked seating. Breakfast area was not kept cleaned or stocked! Ended up eating breakfast out. Will not return to this hotel in the future.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
