This is one of those cheap hotels that you stay at when you're trying to save money but you regret it because you get woken up at 9 AM by a couple having an argument in the corridor or the kids next cranking the TV at full volume.. nonchalant receptionist and very low quality breakfast

paulsmith7526 i inspected the room after you checked out the following day and discovered many empty beer cans pizza boxes and cracked TV screen. The room reeked of weed. The reason the night clerk was rude to you, was because he was getting to many noise complaints about you " DUDES" as you had self described yourselves. (were just a...

From the exterior, the hotel is dated, but the interior was clean & nicely decorated. The room was large & included very comfortable beds, coffee maker & fridge. A continental breakfast is provided with a variety of items to get you started on your day. There were several small restaurants close by & the streetcar to downtown just a short...

We were able to get a good price, so I had low expectation, but the hotel more than met them. I wouldn't pay a lot for this hotel, but if they offer a good price, I recommend it.

i stayed here for one night recently. i came from out of town to go to a concert at the opera house, which is just a few blocks down queen st so the location was ideal. the hotel is also an easy street car ride from the downtown core. the room was clean enough, though i discovered the door to...

This hotel is pretty good. It is in a cool-looking art deco building. It was quiet and comfortable, everything worked, parking and breakfast were free. For the dates we stayed, I don't think it offered great value for the money compared to some of the downtown hotels (which admittedly would cost more but also offer more amenities), but it is...

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
