Extremely satisfied with my stay. Clean, efficient, good conference facilities. Well located in the city, gorgeous venue and very modern rooms. The food at the restaurant was delicious, as was the food served at the conference.

This was our first hotel on a 3 week trip to Canada. It set the standard very high, and wasn't beaten! All the staff were extremely helpful, and went the extra mile to give us excellent service. The ladies in the club lounge ordered sparkling wind and chocolates when we told them we were celebrating a special anniversary. The concierge...

Kenny especially provided excellent, friendly service to my room. He is a first class employee who should be promoted or recompensed appropriately. Chris and Paul are tremendous ambassadors upon arrival at the front door. Jenny and Helen made up the room perfectly. John was also very patient while taking our room service orders. My first complaint would be regarding the...

This beautiful historic hotel is in the heart of downtown Toronto. It is within walking distance of great shopping, and both the baseball and hockey stadium. I would recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers.

Overall a very sumptuous hotel. Our room was slightly dark due to its positioning but that can't be helped. We were there for a wedding and was slightly disappointed that we couldn't check in at the earlier time that had been agreed when the bride booked a package of rooms - staff weren't really that helpful over this either; suggesting...

Very clean, beautiful room, friendly staff, easy walking to many sites, close to subway stop, great views. King Street is a hub for restaurants, theaters, shopping, and museums. The Omni was a great place for "home base".

My husband and I spent our wedding night here. Upon arrival staff was very efficient taking care of our needs and car. Very friendly. Room and hotel are kept very clean. When arriving back at our room that night they had a congratulations note and chocolate covered strawberries as a nice surprise for getting married. A nice added touch to...

We were very happy with our stay. Our room was spacious, although it was quite dark as it faced the inner courtyard. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, and we appreciated being given a late check-out on the date of our departure.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
