Hubby and I ALWAYS stay at the Courtyard Marriott..but because we were itching to go to Toronto and because my hubby's job situation is a little shaky we decided to try Priceline and hoped and prayed we'd still end up at the Courtyard. Well...we ended up with the Bond Place. Upon check in my hubby discovered what we got when...

I have been travelling to Toronto about 4-5 times a year for business for the past three years. We have never experienced the rudeness that happened this past Friday from the desk attendant, Janet. The trip was booked through Air Canada and the rate at the hotel was excellent. The fact this was pre-paid with no refund we would have...

This hotel has a boutique feel to it but it's not as polished as most boutique hotels, in part because the prices are affordable and it always seem to draw a young crowd. The rooms are appropriate for a couple, not big at all but not too small either. The bathroom is a nice size, well designed. It's in a...

Stayed here during a weekend in Toronto. The room was great. The furniture was contemporary - the room looked like it was all redone recently. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel can't be beat. The Eaton Centre and restaurants are only steps away.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
