Whilst location isn't best with many homeless people in the vicinity this hotel is really good. Reasonable priced clean hotel. Nice friendly staff. Donna was so nice and helpful. Only downside is that you have to pay for wifi. Near underground station but not far to walk to the many of the cities central location. We would stay here again....

My three-night stay was amazing! Donna, the concierge, was so very helpful in assisting me on where to visit and Zia, Driver, was great to take me to airport and Keith the manager was so kind to print my boarding pass. It's the Kind gestures that are priceless to me. The room and location were just fine and walking distance...

Ok so this place is definitely all about location...which is absolutely great - very central and close to several metro stations. If you don't mind a little city walking, you don't even need the subway; it's about a 20 to 30 mins walk to the harbour and many other attractions such as Nathan Philipps square or CN tower are even...

While it doesn't look like much from the outside the place is great once you get in. I would recommend this place, the beds were great and the space was warm and inviting. If staying in Toronto again, Bond Place would definitely be my first choice. The parking is 25CAD a day, and not connected to the hotel, not the...

Great location for downtown shopping and Massey Hall. Very small but efficient room, we had twin beds. Air conditioning blows right onto one bed so uncomfortable to use and room became stuffy. Bright bathroom and good shower. Expensive for it's size. Good for a night or two max.

We decided to take a few days this spring and visit one of our favorite winter spots. The room we booked had been painted and new wall paper since our last visit. it was nice to see the "Bond" was continuing to upgrade and renew it's facilities. The staff working the desk were all very friendly and helpful. The service...

Donna really helped us a lot with city attraction information and getting tickets for us. She is a GREAT asset to the Hotel. We were there only 3 days, it rained all 3 days. She was also helpful to us for finding where to eat breakfast our first day.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. First off, the location is excellent. It's just off Dundas Square so it's perfectly located for exploring the city. When we arrived, the hotel staff were quick to get us checked in as we were very tired from the long flight. The hotel kindly upgraded us...

First off, location was great in the sense that we were in walking distance to the Eaton Centre, so if you're a big shopper, that was handy. Having said that, the location was horrible in regards to all the noise you have to deal with in the middle of the night. The walls are paper thin; we heard a women...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
