This hotel is in a great location but needs to better train it's housekeeping staff. Customer service from front desk was very good when we had a few problems (that should have already been taken care of before we arrived!).

I have not stayed in Hyatt Regency Hotel in recent years, so I was very surprised at the quality of our stay. The staff were quite cordial and accommodating. The West Virginia District of Kiwanis was assigned to this hotel. I very glad that chance favored our staying here. I will be inclined to stay at a Hyatt Regency in...

I stay for one night in a business trip in the city. This is a good hotel in a good location in downtown. Room and bathroom are clean and very comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly as usual at Hyatt. Good ! I will be back again.

Convenient location of downtown and business, lots of places to eat in walking distance. The rooms are small and the bed designs are very dangerous, with sharp corners that cause bruising and injury. Very unsafe. Bathroom so small no towel rack. Two high hooks for hanging things so high my cousin could not reach. No valet parking and bellmen did...

We are diamond members on the Hyatt Gold Passport program and we always choose to stay with Hyatt where ever we travel to. We are always happy with the level of service, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. However, coming to Hyatt Regency Toronto was a disappointment. The hotel was dated, carpet look tired, dusty and small)couple of things broke...

The hotel is great and thought the location is good all the surroundings are under construction so walking around is not very nice. Staff is very kind and helpful. Free wifi in rooms, clean, quite, good room service. Convenient starbucks inside close to the lobby.

We stayed here for my bachelorette party. It is a perfect location for going out, and getting around downtown T.O. Within walking distance to all attractions and amenities. The staff was extremely professional and helpful, We had a great stay. Would definitely go back, the roof top pool is a definite plus, as well as the CN Tower view room....

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
