The Positive: This establishment is actually a residence building, NOT a hotel. It makes no difference to the comfort of the apartment, but be aware that there is no actual reception or hotel facilities. That being said, we were treated courteously by the security guard located on the ground floor and received our room keys with no issue (in fact,...

We had a two bedroom with den. More than ample room for three adults. We were right on the waterfront and about a block from the tower and aquarium and had a great view of the lake and the city. About a twenty minute walk to Union Station. Great restaurants and shops around us. The ferries to Toronto Island was...

The location was brilliant. Close to hop on hop off bus and cruises, fairly close to Union Station and Rogers stadium. There is a supermarket next door which is super handy for an apartment. Pet friendly, we loved seeing all the dogs. One window in our apartment wouldn't open, the blinds were broken too. Very hard to check in and...

When we arrived after a relaxing trip on Canada's famous Via Rail "The Canadian" train, security at the ground floor had our kes ready, so within five minutes we were in absolute waterfront room 1809. This had excellent views of Toronto's Queens Quay and surrounding areas and was easily reached via streetcar routes 509 and 510, the latter linking Toronto...

Its a apartment building for the sub 30 crowd. Smelly hallway, carpet stained, furniture seen better days. I would rather stay in a hotel with amenities or an apertment style hotel. This is more of a vrbo type experience

This property is in a great location, just a 5-10 walk to the Roger's Center. The suites have great views of the lakefront and it is nice to have space. I stayed in a two bedroom with two coworkers and we were all able to have our own sleeping space.(there was a small den that fit the cot) Being able...

We thought we would stay here because we wanted to be near to the Rogers Centre for this weekend's Blue Jays games. This property is directly across the street. However after walking into the hallways of this place, there was NO way I would have let my family stay in here. The smell was unbearable. So we decided to stay...

Dear Guest, Thank you your comments. We are aware that the building hallways were being painted during the time of your stay and that may be what you're referring to. We sincerely apologize for your experience. As for alternative suites, we are always open to moving guests in situations such as these. However, all of our units were completely occupied...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
