Neighbourhood
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.

Selected this property because it was relatively close to Union Station (walk). Travelling into Toronto late, we needed a place to wait until we went eastward for the rest of our trip. I was presently surprised by the hotel itself. I was really happy with the room and I though

First time in this hotel and it was a great experience. Smiles all around from the second we pulled up to the hotel. Check in was fast and all questions answered. I missed the view from the bar right beside the front desk until later on. Go check it out. The rooms were very

The location of the hotel from a tourist point of view is superb. It's just next to the CN tower. A 1-1.5km walk would take you to the night life of Toronto.

The day we came in there seemed to be a match in which a local club called Blue Jays was playing. So when we were enterin

The Marriott City Centre is a neat hotel and is close to so many things downtown. Lots of parking in the underground lot for $30 a day, though I wouldn't want to try it during a Blue Jays game. The room was recently renovated and had lots of nice touches, like the rainfall shower

Dear 02CG,Thank you for sharing your review and feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that our location met your needs and parking was easy and convenient. Rates for hotel guests remain the same for event days and there is an option for self-parking and valet. We are pleased you enjoyed the new features in the guestrooms and have an ongoing preventative maintenance to address any areas as the need arises. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future. Best Regards, Andrea Copeland

If you have a fieldview room, do you have access to the ballpark itself? I ask because I like to walk around the ballpark with my daughter to let her pick out her food. We have never stayed at the Ballpark and we excited about our first time. Any additional tips on our first time would be appreciated. Thank you
Thank you for your inquiry. If you reserve a stadium view room in the hotel, it does not give you access to the Rogers Centre. Unfortunately, you will not be able to enter the stadium itself and walk around. You will be required to purchase tickets to the game in order to enter. I hope this information is helpful.

I have booked a Field View Room - and would like to have my son and daughter and family enjoy the game with us. How many are allowed in a room during a game?
Thank you for your inquiry. Viewing capacity varies according to the stadium room type that you have booked. We have a few different layouts. The room types and their viewing capacities are as follows; Standard King or Double Stadium View - 5-6ppl Executive Split King or Queen - 6-7ppl Small Bi-Level Suite - 10ppl Large Bi-Level - 12ppl We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions.

If you book a stadium view room on the night of a concert, can you view the concert for free?
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, you will not be able to view the concert, although you will hear it. All of the stadium view rooms are blacked out with curtain draping. This is due to the stage setup as the hotel is located in the backstage. The draping also ensures that there is no lighting disruptions with the production. I hope this information is helpful. Please contact us if you have further questions.

I am on the marriott website right now- how do I know if a room I am booking is stadium view or field view? It is not indicitive of this on what I am seeing. All I see is "guest room 1 King or 2 queen beds" with a standard stock photo of the city. Thank you
Viewing rooms are featured separately on our website as rates will vary according to whether or not there is an event going on. If you are wanting to watch baseball, it is best to secure the field view room buy booking that option online. These rates are at a premium as commissions are paid out to other parties for the viewing opportunity. It is rare that we upgrade to these rooms as they are often sold out or because of the commissions component. I hope that helps to answer your question. If you have further questions, you can call our inhouse Reservations line.

Does this hotel supply actual cribs for babies or are they pack n play style?
Thank you for your inquiry. We do carry proper cribs as opposed to a pack n' play alternative. Our crib is the Pinnacle Full sized Steel folding crib if that is of any assistance. If you are staying with us, and have a crib request, please let us know and we will ensure that it is available for you upon arrival.
