It was a good stay in this hotel. All staff were friendly, professional and attentive. The room was clean, well maintained. Our beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious and with good variety of food's choices. It was a good size and warm pool inside. We enjoyed staying in this hotel.
Quiet airport hotel. Not much in the vicinity. Hotel has a shuttle Van. Everything was great. I don’t understand why this hotel has to charge my credit card for a $300 deposit when rental car companies simply put a hold on the card. Also the paperless world means I don’t get to see the charges before they are charged to my card. I dislike having a reading light only on one side of the bed. We both need it. Why not have a wall lamp cantered over the headboard?sheets and towels were excellent. If you have transportation, this is very convenient to the airport.
Thank you so very much for your great assistance/support during our stay! I am very thankful to every staff who always went above and beyond to assist us. Big thanks to Violet, Odalys & Mila for your kindness and hospitality! Best & warmest regards!
They told me one of the rooms I booked was cancelled after I checked in online which is impossible.. kept asking me the room numbers I selected which of course I didn’t memorize them and not in the app. I was told to call main Hilton why they cancelled the room. It took more than 30 minutes to do actual check in. When I said look it again through the reservation number and not my name that’s the only time they saw my 2 rooms that I booked. That’s a common sense. But the supervisor said, oh now they gave back the 2 rooms to you. What! Instead of admitting they were looking at a wrong reservation, she gave me that lousy reasoning. We were so tired and we wanted to rest and we had to deal with that stress “your another room is cancelled “
This hotel was perfect for both airport and Toronto sightseeing because of the free shuttle service back to the airport. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast provided a wide variety for all tastes and because it was a buffet allowed for personal choice too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Hanan the reception was brilliant.
I have stayed at this hotel whenever I am in Toronto. I was last there a couple of weeks before the covid epidemic hit Canada and now it is 2 years later and the staff is still great. One of them even remembered me. I really like their 'to go' breakfast and their hot breakfast has fresh fruit.
Booked this hotel for a night for my family as we had to be at the airport for 3.30am. Booked a wheelchair accessible room as my husband is paraplegic. I have to say the room was perfect for accessibility. The service from staff was dreadful though. I asked if the airport shuttle was wheelchair accessible which it was not. Was told that we need to make our own arrangements. This is not inclusive of wheelchair users. If a hotel is offering a free shuttle service why should wheelchair users be excluded from that service. When I called the day before our arrival to enquire about the shuttle I was told on the phone that the hotel would organize and pay for a taxi for us. Of course no one at the front desk was aware of this. I asked to check with a manager and was given a direct cell number for Aggie Liew. I called her to explain and she was extremely patronizing and had absolutely no care or empathy for our situation. Said it was not the hotels responsibility. As I was talking to her to explain about inclusion she hung up on me. I tried calling back and it rang but no answer. I was eventually told by Teo on the front desk that she was apparantly out of cell service range but that it was all good she had spoken to someone higher up then her and confirmed it was ok to pay for our taxi. Teo said she would have a ticket for us in the morning to give to the taxi driver. Our taxi came at 3.15am and of course the guy on the front desk knew nothing about this. There was no note on file and no ticket left for us. He could see I was not happy about this and went ahead and wrote out a ticket but again reminded me it's not something the hotel usually offers. It's not the money that bothers me, it's the fact that the hotel took no responsibility for offering a service for wheelchair users and no one seemed to care. This is not what I expect of a Hilton hotel brand. If you offer wheel chair accessible rooms then all services offered to hotel guests should be wheelchair accessible. Staff should be trained on how to deal with such situations as well instead of brushing it off and not taking accountability. I would not stay here again for the pure fact that customer service was dissapointing and frustrating…
Great pickup and delivery to and from airport. Nice friendly staff. Breakfast very nice. It’s about 20 mins or more from airport. Rooms little dated but we needed clean bed and a shower and worked very well
The staff are very kind and accommodating towards us. The breakfast was fabulous and service was awesome. Our rooms were always kept clean and tidy and the hotel was alway clean. I would recommend this hotel.
My wife, grand daughter and I visited Toronto for a family visit and chose The Hampton Inn by Hilton as it was conveniently located between the airport and where we were to visit family. The front desk staff member that checked us in was Hanan who was very pleasant and accommodating. We had multiple interactions with other front desk staff that were just as pleasant until our check out which was with Hanan yet again. The room was very clean, clean sheets with a comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast ladies were amazing making sure that the supplies were always topped up. I would definitely recommend staying here whether travelling for business or personal reasons. The staff here made the stay most enjoyable.
