Exceptionally spotlessly clean motel on Kingston Rd. in the heart of the Guild matched by empathetic and warm charming service. A superb value 20 minutes flat drive to downtown. The "classic" rooms are older and the "premium" rooms are brand newly renovated. I've stayed in...More
This family-run establishment may be a bit far and away from the bustle of downtown Toronto but it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. The room we had was clean and had a good little fridge and a microwave, which we used a lot. The bed...More
This is the best motel on Kingston Road for the price...the customer service is friendly and hospitable...they provide a decent fresh breakfast every morning...the rooms are decent and clean. Location is great close to plaza strips and lots of places to eat.

Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous
rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
