We walked into the restaurant with no reservations on a Friday around noon and they had plenty of room. We were given a banquette table directly across from the kitchen, which was fine because it's always fun to watch the action. We were asked immediately if we were seeing a show, and we were so we said yes (the show...

My father came into town yesterday (May 8, 2017) from Colombia (he travels internationally for business), tired and looking for a good meal. We decided to try Mercer Hall. Wow. Big mistake. We walked in off the street at 5:52 and were added to the wait list for a half hour wait time while we took a seat at the...

I am currently staying at Mercer Hall. My room 201 on the second floor is very nice and as previously mentioned a second floor room doesn't have as many stairs to climb. Check in was quick and easy. I arrived early and my room was ready so they gave me my key and I was able to get into the...

Well appointed room, plenty of space and a comfy bed. Yes, there are stairs, we stayon on the top (3rd) floor, so there was no noise at all from the bar or the street. It's easy to get around Stratford, can walk almost anywhere from here. Good food & drinks downstairs.

The Mercer Bar and restaurant is cozy and warm. There is a full bar and reasonably good bar food. Be prepared however, to climb steps if you want to stay at the hotel. While parking is "free" there are certain disadvantages - I had to carry my bags up 3 flights of steps from the parking lot. The front desk...

We stayed on a Saturday night. Check in was easy. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Street was full. Had to pull up in bus zone and jump out to see where to park. Check in for hotel is coatroom inside the bar. Parking is around the back. Lots of stairs. We were on the third floor. Bar and...

I love this place. It is a great location on the main street in Stratford. You also have free parking. The staff both at the hotel and restaurant (they are one in the same) go above and beyond the call of duty. Our room was great with a microwave, coffee pot, and a refrigerator. Did not hear a sound and...

Stayed two nights over the Canada Day holiday. Room was spacious and clean. A/C worked well - easy/effective control of environment. The view out onto Ontario St was nice. Generally a quiet hotel - no noise from street or hallway. Security was good - locked door to get into the accommodations floors and of course the room itself. Amazing location!...

Exhausted from my drive to Stratford & subsequent medical appointment & not wanting to face the return trip in the dark on a foggy night I took advice from staff at oral surgeon's and went to the Mercer Inn for supper & overnight accommodation in one, easy-peasy location downtown. My appetite meager for days, the Gluten Free Mussels with most...

Mercer Hall Inn has that late 19th century exterior with a very warm yet modern restaurant interior. There are 14 rooms upstairs and the one we stayed in was plenty big, but still had a homey feel. The fireplace is a nice touch (albeit not a real one), the jacuzzi tub is huge, the bed is even bigger and exceptionally...
