If you're looking for a true "inn," Fosters is the place to stay in Stratford. If you're looking for a Hampton's-type hotel, keep looking. Fosters Inn is a converted Odd Fellows hall with rooms on levels 2 and 3. There is a long stairway if you're in pretty good shape. There is an elevator behind the pub if you're so...

Location right in town next to Avon. Easy walk to Tom Patterson and pleasant walk to Festival Theater. Large, comfortable ,clean rooms. This time we stayed facing rear and it was very quiet, street facing rooms can be a little noisy with post theater crowds, for the short time that lasts. Comfortable beds, crisp linens and large, modern clean bathrooms....

We enjoyed our dinner at Fosters. Great staff and excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. Close to the Avon and Studio theatres. We both had steak (excellent) which included very fresh local vegetables.

We stayed at Foster's Inn for one night and after a short time I wish we had booked a second night. The room was large and the bed comfortable, the food at the restaurant was fantastic and the service was amazing. The owner was present and made us feel at home. The pub downstairs was just happening enough so that...

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of July and it was a fantastic experience! There was a mix up with our reservation (not the hotel's fault, the fault of the third party booking site we used). The hotel was extremely accommodating and gave us their first available room. Staff was friendly, hotel was adorable and everything in...

My daughter and I met today for a birthday lunch. We wanted to sit outside and decided on Fosters. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, she made excellent suggestions. We found the food to be very tasty and the menu quite extensive. The food came hot and nicely plated. We would definitely go back.

We have stayed at this lovely little hotel at least for times and it's nicer every time. Just two doors from the Avon theater and a nice walk from the Tom Patterson and the Festival Theater, it's the perfect place to stay when attending the Stratford Festival. Stratford offers 24 hour free parking about two blocks from this hotel. The...

A lovely place with a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are amazing, unique in their old-world charm. If you like something other than the cookie cutter hotel this is the place. Restaurant was wonderful, food fresh and cooked perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Staff, like best friends. I would certainly go back and definitely recommend!

Went to Fosters tonight for dinner and was disappointed Waiter seemed disinterested, I ordered the steak and it wasn't cooked near what I asked for, few vegetables thrown on the plate. My wife ordered the special which she enjoyed. Not sure I will be back anytime soon

The choice of room makes a difference. You get what you pay for! The top priced room are very nice. First night we booked last minute and it was ok. The room we chose for the rest of our 3 day stay was great. The staff are amazing! Friendly and helpful. The food at the inn was delicious. The location...
