This is my fourth stay at this very fine B.&B. that is close to all attractions in Stratford. Mary Lou is an excellent host and is complimented by her daughter Emily and chief concierge Baden the cutest Welsh Corgi. Sadly John passed away earlier this year and is greatly missed. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious, rooms are well decorated... More

For the second year in a row we have had a delightful stay at The Caversham House. This B&B is very convenient to Stratford's theaters, restaurants, and downtown shopping district. The room we stayed in this summer was lovely, the breakfast was scrumptious, our fellow guests were congenial, and Baden, the Corgi Concierge, catered to our every need. Mary Lou,... More

Mary Lou was such a wealth of help! From finding the perfect place for my brother and I to grab an afternoon drink, to digging out a book of Scottish Clans so we could do some family research. The fresh, warm pastries with breakfast were to die for. It was hard to leave room for the main event, but each... More

Mary Lou and her daughter at the Caversham house were excellent hosts in their lovely B & B. The location is fantastic. Great restaurants and theatres are within a short walk of the B & B. Our room was charming and very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing including fresh baked muffins and sticky buns. We will book again at the... More

Mary Lou runs an excellent B&B in a central location for visiting Stratford. Rooms are quiet and very clean and bed comfort is very good. A spacious, well furnished common room and elegant dining area round out a beautiful home. Breakfast was delicious and the company enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Caversham House for 3 nights at the beginning of the theatre season (Memorial Day weekend) and had an enjoyable and relaxing visit. Mary Lou and her daughter were excellent hosts, attending to our every need. The breakfasts were hearty, tasty and accommodating to our needs/desires. The rooms are very clean and include every convenience. (We've been... More

Upon your arrival, Mary Lou and the official inspector; Baden the Corgi, will greet you warmly and give you a quick tour. I had been looking forward to staying here in Room #3, the spacious Henley Suite that overlooks the back garden, for quite some time. It more than met expectation. The décor of the room is soothing with soft... More

For the past three years we have stayed at this wonderful B&B. We were sad to learn of John's passing in January but did manage a toast to him with Mary Lou. Once again our stay was delightful. Emily as a "new addition" and Baden (friendly household pet) added to the experience. Our room was beautiful, our bed extremely comfortable,... More

This home was VERY comfortable and easy to stay in. The location was perfect, the food superior and the owners could not have done more. We rate this tops among the many B&Bs we have stayed in. We'll be back there for our next Stratford trip!
