Walking into the Rosehurst, I was instantly warmed by the Cozy fire and was instantly impressed with the quaint atmosphere of the entrance way. We arrived as a party of eight and was given a grand tour. The four bedrooms each contained a full en suite bathroom, all equipped with hairdryer, soap, shampoo. There were three bedrooms and the upstairs...

Myself, and 7 other friends won a night's stay at the new Rosehurst- what a wonderful prize it was! Our host, Theresa Albert (Stephen and Chris, Canada AM), made us feel pampered, while at the same time quite at home. The house is warm and cozy with charming touches (love the sink in the downstairs bedroom) and the food was...

We felt right at home instantly. Our room was cozy, clean with own ensuite. The historic details of the home are something to experience. Wonderful food and short walk to downtown Stratford. Theresa is a very welcoming and gracious host.

Everything about our stay was wonderful... spacious, comfortable rooms (each with an ensuite), fantastic food prepared by a great cook, ideal location in Stratford and a wonderful hostess! My wife and I will be back!

My partner and I stayed at the Rosehurst B&B for one night, and were delighted by the vivacious, warm and welcoming new owner Theresa. Our room on the second floor at the front of the house had a view, a private balcony, was private, spacious, spotless and cozy. Theresa's breakfast, served in the expansive, sunlit common area on the first...

The new management is AWESOME! Stayed for a night and found the home and hostess warm, helpful and welcoming! Great, healthy breakfast different from what I'd seen in other Bed and Breakfasts. Worth a try!

Thanks! Happy you are happy. If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it can be both hearty and special, right?

We had tickets to 2 plays in two different theatres. It was so convenient to park the car at Rosehurst and walk everywhere! Our room and private bathroom were spotless, our hostess Kit was charming and helpful. Breakfast was beyond our expectations; fresh coffee or tea, fruit, croissants, even cereal if you prefer but the Fruit Strata with maple syrup...

When we arrived, the host was not terribly welcoming, and did not hesitate to give us strict instructions - where to park; make sure we lock the door, etc!!! The place is very clean, but very sparse. No water in the room; no hook on the bathroom door; a tiny mirror in the room. No extras…very basic! Breakfast was terrible!...

Hi Thestarr, That sounds like a less than pleasant experience but it helped me, the new owner, create a better place for guests. For instance, I have implemented a comfy all day coffee/water/snack corner and provided pitchers for guests to bring water to their rooms. (All included in the rate). I am actively fluffing the decor piece by piece and...

We liked having our room on the first floor but both the bedroom and the bathroom were very small. We missed having chairs to sit and read in our room. There was a sitting room down the hall. Kit, our innkeeper was lovely and most helpful. She was knowledgeable about the theater which is why we were there, of course.

Hello Ed Welch, Just a quick note to let you know that I have taken over the Rosehurst and Welcome you back. Kit knows much more about the theatre but I am certain we can find lots to talk about! Theresa

My husband and I found A Night at Rosehurst extremely cozy. It was a last minute booking and we were lucky to get a room in the first place as most of the B&Bs around Stratford had filled out. Kit is a wonderful hostess and makes the most amazing french toast for breakfast. A Night at Rosehurst is conveniently located...
