I needed a room for a night and just walked to the Rideau Inn, previously having read about it on tripadvisor. It's about a 10min walk from downtown and about 15min walk into the other direction to get to the Greyhound bus station. The owner Lucy was very accommodating and let me check in early and without a previous reservation...

We traveled to Ottawa to skate on the Rideau Canal. This bed and breakfast was about three blocks from the Concord entry site and warming hut on the skateway. The location was ideal. It was also half a block from the great restaurants on Elgin street. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The Inn was clean and charming. Lucie tries...

A very nice charming 100yr old house. Lucy, the owner is very nice and very helpful. She made our stay quite pleasant. Parking is an issue for this area of Ottawa. So I recommend reserving the $9 parking per day when you book. There are carparks nearby but for $12-30 per day and a short walk. Our room was tastefully...

I was in this area of Ottawa recently taking a course for a week. OMGosh what a treat! Yes, an old building BUT very comfortable and absolutely clean. I am a single woman. I felt totally safe and loved the neighbourhood and proximity to restaurants, shopping, transit and sites. Lucie is the absolute best! Goes out of her way to...

The B&B is close to the city centre, walking distance. 3 Parking spaces are available behind the house. The Manager of the b&b was very friendly. The room was clean and we felt comfortable. The breakfast was more then enough, at all a good and practical B&B to visit ottawa.

We really enjoyed the day at Rideau Inn. The Manager welcomed us warmely and the room was very comfortable and clean. I even got another blanket for the bed due to my allergy. The city can be reached by foot in 15 minutes.

We have stayed for a week and have nothing but praise for the overall experience. The owners are caring and considerate. The rooms are very clean the breakfast has a large variety of options. The inn is within walking distance of most of the highlights of Ottawa. Lucie is multilingual and very friendly and helpful. My sister and I (both...

Located in the heart of Ottawa, within walking distance of most places of interest, this is a pleasant and calm place to stay. Lucie, the Manager, was invariably helpful, charming and very welcoming. We stayed in the New Brunswick room which had its own adjoining bathroom and were very pleased with all the facilities, bearing in mind that this is...

I stayed in Rideau Inn for 3 nights, I was staying in the Ontario room with shared bathroom facilities. The room was very nice, pleasantly designed and with a great bed. The only thing is that it got quite hot in my room, even with the A/C on (and it wasn't even that warm outside) I think this is in...
