From the moment you step inside the American Loyalist Peter Secord Inn you are transported back in time to 1782. Yet there is so much more to this beautifully restored home. Harry and Collette are amazing hosts who are friends by the time you leave. The food is amazing and the rooms are spotless and quite comfortable. This was our...

This is a beautifully restored historic home! Very clean. The owners are very knowlegable about the history of the home and region, which I was quite interested in. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Breakfast was delicious. The owners ask that you don't wear your shoes in the house....which was not a problem for us, but be advised.... We also enjoyed...

A truly wonderful little Inn, very intimate atmosphere and quiet. We were the only guests but the breakfasts were still outstanding, wonderful fresh fruit and muffins along with juice and egg dishes every morning together with soft music and candles. A real treat! Enjoyed meeting and visiting with the owners and learning about the history of the Inn as well...

We arrived in the pouring rain at midnight after a difficult journey from England because of the Icelandic volcano. We were directed in over the phone, welcomed and resuscitated despite the hour. We stayed two nights, breakfasts fantastic.

Last weekend my husband and I stayed in the Laura Secord Room at the Peter Secord Inn. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The room was beautiful with no attention to detail spared, as in the rest of the house. Harry provided us with a wealth of information on the area, with fascinating historical tidbits thrown in,...
