We booked this B&B through Hotel.com and found our stay to be wonderful. Our Hosts Dave and Gail were most engaging looking after each and every detail from well appointed rooms to a lit fire in the living room. There was ample parking and clear of snow since this is February in Canada. Our breakfast was above expectation and Gail's...

The B&B is a delightful, and charming/quaint little old house, beautifully decorated in a Victorian theme, and is centrally located ("just around the corner") from the old historic Queen Street in the center of town. We were there during the Ice Wine Festival (celebrated on "Queen Street"), so the location is ideal. The house has just the kind of character...

My wife and I recently stayed at this B & B over the Christmas holiday. The price was reasonable, the location is ideal, the room was nice and large enough for our needs. A couple of little things could be enhanced to improve the stay such as ensuring that tea is stocked in the snack area, have some pamphlets or...

Stayed here awhile ago and it sounds like it has not changed. I agree with other reviewers about the inappropriateness of being asked to remove shoes, as well as having a tiny, dark room with a poor quality mattress and unable to lock our door.upon departure. There are plenty of other wonderful B&B''s at NOTL so keep on looking. I...

This B&B is in a great location, just minutes walking to the Main Street and yet very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. They are happy to recommend good restaurants, etc. Morning conversations with the other guests are wonderful. The sitting room downstairs is comfortable and a good place to...

This was our third stay at the Inn and we love being there. Gail and Dave are exceedingly thoughtful hosts who are always looking for ways to accommodate your needs. The breakfasts are superb culinary delights; the rooms are appointed in lovely fashion with graciousness and comfort top-notch. Plus they have a lovely garden to sit in to relax. A...

We decided to stay in Niagara on the lake as part of our trip from New England to The Henry Ford Museum. Not knowing the area, I checked with Trivago and most of the town has excellent ratings. I chose this b&b based on the location, price, and what we thought was free breakfast. The owners know the area well...

As we were trying to find this bed and breakfast, we drove right past it. The house is small with an overgrown yard making signs hard to find. When we got inside we noticed how small and dark everything was, with a funny odour. The owner greeted us in a friendly manner. We were asked to remove our shoes before...

Many thanks for your comments. The grounds are very lush and we prefer the casual friendly appearance of English gardens. The front of the house faces east so it is bright in the morning and darker late in the day. There is a wood burning fireplace in the guest lounge and it is used regularly so occasionally there is an...

The Apple Tree B&B is a charming home. The owners Gale and David are lovely, warm, and welcoming to each guest. Breakfast is a real treat. It is great to interact with the other guests. Everyone is pleasant and interesting. The only negative is the absence of a TV set. But it was the first week of the olympics so...

Thank you for posting this positive review. We believe that a warm welcome sets up everyone for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The decision to remove TV from the rooms was a conscious effort to promote inter-personal communication. There are plenty of TVs available in nearby pubs and restaurants.
