We stayed one night at this cute home. The bedroom was very spacious and clean . The upper floor bedroom had a ensuite with walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and and linens were high quality. Breakfast was very tasty and presented very well. Breakfast was at 9am. Jim was a great host and made sure people felt comfortable...

So, some of what other reviewers have written is correct - so let's start with those. Yes, breakfast is communal around one large dining table (maximum of 6 people). Yes, breakfast is at 9.00 am. Yes, there is no choice at breakfast, other than what the owner provides. However, this is a very good B &B. Nothing more, nothing less....

Be aware of this B&B. This B&B is a very plain house, a 3 bedroom side split on an ordinary street ... nothing special compaired to the many beautiful B&B's in Niagara! The host is not there when you arrive. You find a note on the wall at the side of the front door explaining where your room is located...

We ( three couples) booked Argus House for what was to be a two night stay this past week. We chose this place because it was the only B&B we could find that had three rooms available at a reasonable price. We read some reviews, but obviously did not read far enough, as we now discover that other people had...

This little B&B is a gem - no frills or historical connections - just three spacious rooms & bath with a capable and effecient innkeeper. Quiet & convenient on a street lined with lovely well-landscaped homes. A perfect base for a visit to NOTL and the Shaw Festival.

We had a wonderful stay here, would definitely go back the next time we're in town. Fantastic home cooked breakfast. Very clean. The owner, Jim, was quite nice and friendly. It was easy to find and was the perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Spent the night at Argus House B&B in NOTL and was quite pleased with the accommodations, and breakfast was great! The Host, Jim, was really helpful in acclimating us to the area and the things to do. Queen Street was in easy walking distance, and the restaurants were awesome! Had a great weekend and looking forward to returning to Argus...

Firstly the host is never on-site except to serve breakfast, which is actually pretty good. Jim leaves instructions beside the front door after sending an email to confirm the details. He is not the most hospitable host I have met either...but some people return many times, so they must like him and his BnB. My friends from the UK and...

We booked this B&B through the owners own website a few days before our trip. When we arrived at the B&B he had no idea we were coming and said that he had just booked out our room that morning to someone else. His excuse was that he uses multiple booking services but apparently isn't smart enough to co-ordinate between...

We spent one night in Jim's B&B. Great place with excellent homemade breakfast. Huge bedroom with kingsize bed, and spacious bathroom. 30 min drive to Niagara Falls via the scenic Niagara Driveway along Niagara River. Fully recommended.
