This wonderful motel and its sweet owners made our trip to Niagara again an excellent experience! The motel is very clean and each room is unique. Each detail of the decoration is on its place and you feel like you are in a boutique hotel....More
The room was very clean and decorated nicely. Upon entering, the smell was overpowering because of a plugin scent dispenser. Due to bad sinuses, it was a little nauseating at times for me .Unplugged it immediately. Could not control temperature in the room so it...More
The Rex Motel lives up to all the reviews. Each room is decorated differently with charm and taste. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting the Falls. It's out of the tourist areas but very close. We had a great...More

It is over 3 km so not really walking distance. Especially since you will do a lot of walking around the falls area. We drove in and found some parking lots that the owner had directed us to. There is a main parking lot that is $10 a day but the owner directed us to one that was $5 on ellen ave but the rate sometimes goes up later in the day. That lot is small to so it can fill up fast so if your going to the full day that is probably the best option unless you want to pay more to the $10 lot. I believe the $10 lot has a shuttle to the falls. We did also find a free one that's near the dufferin Islands on burning springs hill rd but its a long walk ( appx 1.8km) to the falls there.
