My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as we toured Northern America and Canada. As soon as we arrived, we were met by Gary, the manager and he filled us in on where to go and get free parking nearer the falls as we arrived a few hours before check in The location is possibly just a...

It was a comfortable room, clean, well heated (outside it wanted to snow), a good shower. The parking was convenient. It was quiet at night with not much traffic and the staff was friendly. The price was very friendly.

We were initially very happy with our stay and thought we had found a gem until the temperature dropped. There are no individual climate controls, and heat was not provided, unless requested. Offering blankets doesn't meet the basic need of a comfortable room temperature. It is unfortunate, because otherwise this motel has done an exemplary job of making guests comfortable...

Need a place to sleep while seeing the attractions in Niagara Falls? This is a good alternative to the expensive downtown hotels. The Rex offers good value for money: it is obviously a 50's strip motel that has been well maintained and updated. The rooms are on the small side, but recently decorated and clean. Bathrooms are average size but...

Tired of the cookie cutter rooms in chain hotels? Try The Rex! Each room is cute and different, and we loved the the old school bistro set outside each room. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Close to the Falls without the attendant madness. One review mentioned traffic noise, but I don't recall it being disturbing (and I live...

Friendly staff at check in & check out. The unit was very small, cramped might be a better word. Temperature only adjustable by covering heat vent. There was a lot of traffic noise to keep us awake. Could use more electrical outlets.

We are so happy with the Rex. For the price they charge you will be very very hard pressed to find a better place to stay. Super friendly owners, exceptionally clean rooms, cute themed rooms, comfy beds, free parking and wifi, flexible when we had to change our travel date.... I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, but I do...

Just a heads up that there is no free cancelation policy in place and a $25.00 charge will immediately go through on your credit card upon booking. Even, with 3 months advance notice of me wishing to cancel, the owners wouldn't. $25 is no biggie - but the charge increases (for this motel) the closer to the date you get.

This motel is owned by a lovely couple who are always friendly and helpful. It is a little far from the tourist area, but with a GPS or taxi, you can navigate the city quite easily. The rooms are themed (cute), but the ones that we have stayed in are quite small. For a night or two stay, it's just...

Room is very beautiful, cozy, clean. And I think you should bring your own things. Their's only microwave oven and ref. (soap, shampoo, towel too) But it's far from falls or hill If you have car, I'll strongly recommend to you. But if not, want to say 'it'll be little hard babe'
