I'd heard they gave discounts for hospital visitors but only after a weekly stay. Very handy to avoid parking cost too but I thought the cost on the high side for room w/no shower, no iron, no hair dryers. Like a hostel w/better beds... noisy/echoing hallways from lounges I guess...laundry cost was reasonable. Lovely grounds on river...but when the pre-school...

I have stayed here numerous times over the previous 8 months. Those visits were mostly tolerable if you can ignore the horrible cooking smells from the poorly ventilated shared kitchens, the lack of furnishings or electrical outlets in the rooms and the ill-equipped dormitory style bathrooms where there isn't always a hook or a bench or a shelf to set...

Really, this place should have it's own category because it's not really a hotel, or at least it didn't seem like it to me. It's more like a hostel or charity lodging for people with loved ones staying in the hospital. For those categories I would give it a a 5 out of 5. But compared to actual hotels, it...

Stayed 2 nights while my husband had surgery at University Hospital. I booked a room with a full bathroom and my son stayed in a room with no bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms, although small, were clean and comfortable. There is a full kitchen on each floor for guests to use and very comfortable common...

The room in which we stayed was clean, had a bright window, no shared bathroom (very clean by the way). Small, comfy, cute. Bed is really comfy. It has a balcony (shared). Has a nice view. There's a kitchen with all utensils to cook and you can get your own groceries and have a space in the fridges (2) to...

Property chosen for proximity to campus, but not as conveniently located as first thought. Still a 10min drive to residences if you are visiting someone. Having to go out of my room in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, not great for a female solo traveller. To be fair, i expected that. While asleep, i was woken...

Hubby had hip surgery at London Hospital and The Mount was recommended. It was everything I needed for 3 stressful days. Walking distance to hospital, so I saved in parking. Room was not a fancy hotel room but nice and clean with full bath and fridge. Full kitchen down the hall which again saved money and allowed me to eat...

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient, close to malls, restaurants and the Western University. The accommodations were very basic, in need of major renovations, as two rooms we saw needed a good airing out, air conditioning cleaned and necessary painting. Bedding and towels were very clean, as well as the washrooms.

I stayed for a week in July while my husband was in London Health Science Centre. It was about a 12 - 15 min walk to the hospital and perfect for my needs. I had rented a room with 2 pc bathroom since I knew I was staying several days. Staff was good and sharing kitchen and dining space was...

Basic inexpensive hotel. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Sharing the shower was not bad at all and probably worth it to save a bit of money.. They don't have food so you have to eat out.
