We just came home from a 4-night stay at Green Woods Inn. We met wonderful people, had a very comfortable 2-bed ensuite room, and had a different gourmet breakfast each day! Lovely gardens, several different places in & out to sit and relax, and altogether a great place to call home for a few days. Located in a residential neighbourhood,...

I stayed at the Green Woods Inn on Saturday September 26, 2015. My wife and I selected this B&B because we like to support local independent establishments over corporate hotels. We needed a place that would accommodate our dogs & this was perfect. Our hosts Tessa and Nigel are wonderful people ~ it was a treat getting to know them...

This was the 4th year we have visited thei remarkable B&B in Kingston. The inn Keepers; Nigel and Tessa have become out friends. The accommodations and breakfast are out of this world. The house is very nice and the grounds are immaculate. We have stayed in the Oak Bedroom and it is our favorite. We shall always stay there to...

This is a wonderful 'business' to be in - we have met many terrific people over the years and, as our motto says, ' arrive a traveller, depart a friend'. This has been so true and we are lucky to be able to call you both friends. Green Woods Inn is a special place to us and, we hope, to...

My spouse & I spent 2 nights here, before the K2O canoe/kayak race. This meant I had a large quantity of food to store, cold. Nigel & Tessa supplied us with a cold box to save us running out for ice, after we had filled the guest fridge to overflowing. We had lovely pancakes the first day, with fruit, &...

Green Woods Inn always transports me into a timeless, stress- free comfort zone and leaves me believing there is some dignity and humour and excellent customer service still to be found in the sometimes cold, hard world. Tessa and Nigel know how to make a bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean and comfy cozy. Their poached pear, blueberry and cardamon yogurt...

Pretty home and wonderful, gracious owners. Bedrooms are spacious with updated baths. Breakfasts are delicious and look like art on a plate. Lovely porch to sit on with lush flowers. On a main road that is noisy, but good central location to sightsee.

Whilst 'delivering' our daughter to McGill in Montreal, we toured Toronto, Niagara, Algonquin, Ottawa and Montreal, and this was our last stopping off place on the way to fly back from Toronto. “The Oak and the Ask Rooms are at the back of home so less noise traffic. All rooms are beautifully done with amenities.”

“Probably quieter at the back, but the only room with 2 single beds is at the front, so there is some traffic noise.”

“Rooms at the front have easy access to a porch. Rooms at the back are away from the hustle of the busy road.”
I3412ZPkatiec, 12 Sep 2015 | Read review
“My room was at the front looking towards the road; but I had no issue with sound. It does not get busy until the morning when people are going to work and most guests would be going down for breakfast by that time. I also liked the morning sun. My friends were on the south west side and were very satisfied with the accomodations there.”
