Definitely the nicest of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Canada. The room was great, but the staff were the best part. They were super nice and made the stay very comfortable. The short walk to downtown was great for going to dinner. The neighborhood was quiet. Definitely preferred over chain hotels. Almost felt like a B&B.

This old house is now a quiet unassuming hotel or B and B. We had a lovely big room on the main floor, near reception. If you don't like stairs the main floor is the place to stay. The lounge on the main floor is very comfortable. The friendly staff serve breakfast but not other meals although the place is...

My wife and I recently celebrated our 44th anniversary in Kingston, one of our favourite places. Hotel Belvedere is our go-to hotel. We love the elegant, relaxed atmosphere and the service is always friendly and unpretentious. We stayed in room 207, which was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is within an easy 10 minute walk to downtown so we never...

Very happy with our room at the hotel. We were there for the Kingston Penn Tour and the Tragically Hip concert. The location is ideal - short walk to downtown. Hotel was full, but still quite quiet. We were in the twin room on the main floor. Had breakfast on the patio the first morning - so nice! We ate...

We stayed here for two nights in August, 2016. Ww booked a king size room, and were given Rm 307. This is a lovely, 2-room suite on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Room amenities included many period antiques, window air conditioner in one room, plus floor fan in bedroom, small fridge, small flat screen tv, fast wi-fi, etc. We...

No amenities. But a style and a feeling of 18 century is there. Bring your 18 century dress and hats to make a divine pictures. I regret I did not have one. In the heart of downtown, this is the place for a romantic getaway.....

Large room with character, on 3rd floor, fridge, good wi-fi, plenty of room. Light breakfast, but more available if you ask. Plenty of places to eat out within 10 min walk. Trolley bus tour , stop close to hotel. Recommend if staying in Kingston.

What a lovely boutique hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms decorated in a most attractive way and even the kids enjoyed our stay. Second time in 8 years and did not disappoint. In an age where everything is becoming standardised - this hotel stands out due to the decor and attention to detail such a property warrants....

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 8 year old daughter as sort of a tour around Ontario. The hotel is well situated, just 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The hotel style is old fashioned with old furniture and features in the rooms such as marble fireplaces. Our room was quite spacious with a double...

We've been staying at the Belvedere for probably three decades: always great service; reasonable pricing; clean rooms; homey feel to the place; antique furniture; wonderful common lounge; complementary newspapers; quiet outside patio; very nice breakfast; 10 min. walk from city hall, market, Pilot House pub, and other necessities.
