DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS HOTEL... if I didn't have to stay at his hotel because the entire team is staying here I wouldn't. We have not even checked in yet and I have had the WORST experience. I am a single mother of 3 without a credit card, and this hotel would not allow me to pay cash, or pay debit OR let my step father use his credit card to pay for our room and tax. I called head office to complain and they suggested I use points to stay. So a friend of ours who had enough points booked a two night stay for us so we could make it. NOW I am told you cannot use a cash or debit card for a deposit. So you tell me to use points for my stay and yet I cannot check into my FREE NIGHT stays without a credit card. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Worst customer service EVER! manager never emailed me back, front desk staff wasn't helpful. I have been a front office manager, supervisor, sales manager for over 15 years and I have stayed at MANY hotels during my sons 5 years of playing travel hockey! Not looking forward to having to stay here.

Hotel's Favourite
Good basic accommodation with friendly service and reasonable price. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with towels, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and more drawer and cupboards space than you often get in much more expensive places. Convenient for lots of nearby fast food places and the Symposium Café on site (see separate review). Highly recommended.

We stayed for 1 night in a Queen room with a sofabed. Check in was friendly. We had room 229 on the second floor. Room was clean. We found the TV to be poor. It had a stretched picture. Not good for a TV in 2022. The Sofa was too close to the Air conditioned. On side of my face was freezing. The bed had a table on one side only. The other side had wardrobe so one person did not have anything to put their phone/glasses on. There was a slight musty smell to the room. Overall it was a clean room that did the job for 1 night.

Reserved a room through third party ( unintentionally ). Arrived to find out they did not have our specific room available. ( dog friendly). We spoke to manager Cynthia Waterland and she promptly accommodated us above and beyond our expectations.

There was a musty smell throughout the whole hotel, but worst part was that after laying on the bed for 5 mins I had a tick on my leg! I got it off and caught it in a cup then went to the front desk to Inform them we would no be staying here and that we found a tick. The lady's response was "did you want a different room?" ABSOLUTELY NOT! we will not be staying here. Then she gave us our money back, didnt apologize or even look surprised that there was a tick or have any sympathy towards the situation. Terrible hospitality.

I stayed here for the close proximity of the local hospital where I had a operation and recovered here. I know this city because I live here close by. There is decent restaurant connected to the hotel at the end of the hallway where you get 10% off. Reasonable prices. Free parking. Friendly staff and super clean rooms. Fast wifi and easy connection never ending connection. You don't have to reconnect every 3 hours like some hotels. The only bad things I didn't like was the exterior sliding doors both were unlocked when I checked in. I locked them both . The other thing was the heating there. The heater is the old style with a heater/AC mounted on the interior wall. There wasn't any real adjustment it was either all or nothing. Beside that it was a great price at 90$ a night with tax included. I will stay here again. RM 128

If you are looking for an accomadation in the Brantford/Paris, Ontario area, don't hesitate at booking at the Comfort Inn in Brampton. We rarely stay at motel style properties, but this one is very clean, renovated, and very reasonably priced. But that is not why I'm writing a review with respect to this property. This review was inspired by the very personal customer service my wife and I received from Tina (hotel front desk staff). From the minute we arrived at the hotel, Tina went out of her way to not only ensure our accomodation was satisfactory, but above and beyond that to make our stay memorable. The Comfort Inn and Choice Hotels are lucky to have Tina as a front line representative of their chain. We will book at this property whenever in this area and I recommend the same to others.

We have stayed at this location on several occasions (we lived nearby for 10 years) including during the period of a major renovation. When we arrived on Friday we checked in and went to our room. It was not the room we booked. When I reported this to the staff they said they were full and could do nothing. After I provided my reservation showing the details of what we booked the staff made an adjustment that was more than acceptable to us. We will return to this location when we make our next trip to Brantford. We believe that the owners of this location would be wise to add the traditional Comfort Inn breakfast even if that means a price increase.

This hotel is conveniently located and is a decent place. It's not ultra modern but it was clean. There's no exercise room. The rooms were good, with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The mini-fridge was larger than most! The water pressure wasn't very good - the shower didn't have great pressure and the toilets barely flushed. We didn't have wifi the first night but the problem was rectified by the second day. The restaurant in the hotel has good pub food. It's also a pet-friendly hotel, which is a big plus for us! Overall, not bad.

Despite the 90s decor, the room itself was actually very nice. Super comfortable bed. Lots of linens. Everything in its place. The curtains could use a blackout blind, and the A/C is a bit difficult to control. Otherwise pleasant. Except for the doors. And certainly the Comfort Inn is not alone in this. Doors that shut and click LOUDLY. Oh, what's a click, you say. Nothing -- unless your own door is so wafer thin that the sounds feel like they're being made in your own room. So what you have at this Comfort Inn is a very long hall full of doors in which people naturally have to go in and out of. And they do. And of course there's the stairwell door, too. It's like a two-fer: you hear that door and then you hear whatever room is being entered. Or in reverse order. And you'll hear this at 7 and 8 and midnight and 1am and 3am. Clear as a bell. And not just once. You'll hear it over and over and over. I'm not sure why it appears to be a given that hotel doors are as thin as paper and that doors must make lots of noise. Why can't doors be soundproof? Why can't doors shut quietly? Is this too much to ask? I get that there is fire code and doors must shut properly. But stopping noise from doors is not rocket sciene and won't contravene the code. It's too bad. The front desk person was lovely and, as I've said, the room itself was great. (Thus, a 3 and not a 1.) All ruined by inattention to a single yet overwhelmingly important detail.
