Any word you put down would be an underestimate to describe the stay at Hollong Tourist Lodge run by WBFDC. We checked in there on 18th Oct this year and stayed there for two nights and already have fixed our mind to revisit the place next year. What else can you ask for if you get rhinos grazing at a... Hollong, one of the most preferred jungle bungalow across the country. I wish to be stay there forever although it is not possible. However, I have promised to the Rahinos, Indian Bisons (Gaurs) and Elephants that I’ll try to be there at a regular interval. The process to get to book the Hollong Banglow is very much tough only some... More

One of the best jungle experience. It is tough to get booking here but if u get u r in for a marvellous experience. At the heart of the jungle, the experience of seeing animals through powerful torch light will remain with you lifelong. The wooden bunglow has very spacious rooms, good enough food as well. But the sheer experience... More

Forest attracts me a lot…… 'Hollong bunglow' is the beautiful place, I have ever seen....... I visited the place at March, 2016 with my husband. When we reached the place, it was just morning. After taking lunch, we were waiting for the ‘heroes’ of the jungle just outside of our bunglow with camera. We saw Indian Gaurs, Peacocks, monkeys, Rhinos.... More

Excellent rooms in the forest with modern amenities. Excellent service and behaviour of the staffs. You won't find tv to avoid noise in the jungle. Very clean. Food quality excellent. Clean modern toilets. Separate drivers staying place.

I am an ardent fan of Hollong and my review is from the point of view of a lover of the place and not merely a tourist.....Hollong is changing, for the better or the worse I don't know...the place somehow did not ooze its normal charm this time...the rooms have working ACs now (you need to pay 500/- per day... My review may seem large but read it. I assure you will have no questions after you finished reading. 1. Booking procedure: You should try right at 12:00 hours and also 120 days in advance. If you miss the moment, you missed the opportunity. Have a good internet connection, put your best effort and all is done. I could book... More

we stayed in march this year. some of the reviews helped us a lot. we reached at 11am, as adviced. Following the check-in procedures at the main entrance of jaldapara wildlife sanctuary, it took another 10 to 15 mins to reach the bungalow. We got one of the salt-pit facing rooms ( Hornbill..room 8) on the 1st floor. it had... More

In one word, it's mind blowing. There are 8 rooms in this bungalow. Only 5 can be booked online through wbtdc portal. Need to be booked exactly 120 days in advance. 119 days means, hardly any chance. Rooms are allotted once you reach the bungalow. Room no 5 have the best view salt lick. From main road i.e., NH31D one... More
