The hotel is dated but its clean, dry and warm. Value is there and its in a good location for meals and other needs. We were there for a family occasion and this location suited us and the price was better than other hotels.

A clean hotel close to the 400 and in the middle of a great shopping area. A great place to stay when you are in Barrie. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room, and the free breakfast saved us time. There was plenty of parking, and I loved that Farmboy was right across the road.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Barrie for 2 nights. The staff at this hotel are friendly, courteous and professional. The rooms are not so good. We were in a pet friendly room so I am not able to speak on other rooms in the hotel but our room was very sad. The drapes had holes in them, there was paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom above the door but worse yet was the carpet. It felt and looked grimy. You did not want your bare feet to touch the carpet. This hotel is in a terrific location, close to restaurants, shopping and the highway. It just needs some TLC.

Staff were nice, pool is closed paid extra to stay at a hotel with a pool and it's not open due to covid. But is not clearly posted on the web site it's not open. Everything else in the province is open. The pool should be open at this point.

My stay in this hotel was great, the bed and pillows were especially comfortable. The desk staff were very helpful. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. I would recommend this hotel to others.

When we first entered the room, it looked pleasing. But when we began to settle in, there were many things we found disturbing. There was brown/yellow stuff that was inside the shower, we scrubbed it away before going in, but I felt very uncomfortable being in there. The bed was nice as well, at first glance. I have a random habit of inspecting hotel beds and there were holes in the blanket, it was stained with some brownish reddish thing and I was so disgusted I just used the pillows as blankets. Took quite long to fall asleep after that. Breakfast is actually really good, there are sausages which disappeared in the blink of an eye, scrambled eggs, toast and bagels, yogurt, a waffle maker, juice dispenser, coffee maker, oats, cereal, milk and spreads like butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, honey, etc. The pool and fitness room were closed, so if you go there expecting to use them, they'll probably be closed. Staff was accommodating, and I'm thankful for that. Work on the cleaning, please. I wonder how you can leave a bathtub like that 🤢🤮

Room 105. For its class of hotel it was good. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The ceiling was very high and a good thing. The day was very hot and the A/C ran at maximum all day. This allowed the noisy ventilation system to be shut off at night. Heat we generated while sleeping went up to the ceiling giving us a comfortable night. The room was quiet. The room could do with some paint and the bathroom fixtures are old. The included breakfast is the usual waffles, eggs and sausages, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit.

The pool and gym and internet was not available, breakfast was very plain , rooms were clean and bedding was clean , pillows are very thick .I loved the location but there was good parking, what would of made the trip better if the pool was working and internet.

Checked in on June 13, 2022 and the room was so bad (filthy/disgusting, etc.) I simply turned around and checked out. I am not sure where the photos on their website came from but they do not represent the room I was given. It was dirty, the walls were damaged and only partially repaired, and I did not feel safe in the area around the hotel. I do find it interesting how there are soooo many positive reviews immediately after a poor one. I just can't square that issue. I will never stay there again, that is for sure. And I am waiting on Wyndham to reply to my complaints to see if I ever stay at any hotel that has their banner.

Be careful. The best times are very narrow and have curved sides at the bottom. It is difficult not to slip on the sides is there is very little room to put your feet flat. One day someone is going to do a header.
