Stayed here for the first time on the July long weekend with our family. It’s suitable for a night if you need an affordable place to stay. If your expecting a hotel (which I wasn’t) you’ll be disappointed. Anyone booking this would know when you book it is collage dorm rooms you are getting, not the Hilton. While it’s not fancy it’s not really that terrible. Two seperate bedrooms each with a small tv, a bathroom and small kitchen with good sized fridge. It’s clean(ish) but we kept our shoes on when walking around. Beds are small and hard and you can hear everything above and outside of the room. Again though, I wasn’t expecting first class...I’d compare it to a low budget motel. It served it’s purpose for the night and saved us the money we would have otherwise had to spend on a hotel. There’s free coffee and fruit available in the main foyer in the morning. If your not picky this place is fine, if you are then a hotel is probably better the better way to go.

I had to stay here on a number of occasions, to my dismay. This place is a joke. I’m not sure how it can even call itself a hotel, it’s so incompetent at running one. The staff is improperly trained, don’t know how to use the check in computer system, don’t know how to program a key properly, (four trips to and from the room and four keys that didn’t work later...)and don’t know where things like spare blankets and towels are kept or locked. The room itself if filthy. The linens are not real bed sheets, they are old, dirty, ripped, musty, and stained. The floors and surfaces are sticky and covered in dust and dead bugs. The carpet is so disgusting I had to go buy slippers so my feet stayed clean. The window opens for minimal crack of fresh air, which is needed badly bc the room is so thick with dust. It was hard to sleep bc I became so stuffed up. Additionally; to add to their sheer stupidity and incompetence, they have “conducted suspicious room checks” on adult paying clients “to check to see if the room is in use.” Instead of consulting their computer system, or making a phone call to the room, they sent two large men, one security, to bang on the door “loudly three times then enter.” At 2 o’clock in the fu*%ing morning. The manager Katie took a week to look into why they are conducting what she said were unauthorized “room checks” to which she concluded it was an honest mistake and couldn’t offer up any other explanation for why two male employees were waking around at 2am banging on paying clients rooms, only to enter if ignored. I feel so so bad for the students who have to stay in this dump the year long. It’s a sham to call yourselves a hotel. To charge 118$ is disgusting and you are crooks!

Booked an overnight as we had a wedding to go to....I booked with the understanding that after driving 4 hours that we would be able to get into our room a little early as in at least an hour!!!!but was refused entry which created a terrible problem as we had a 4 pm wedding to attend in town. I had also asked for a room close to elevator as I have a double hip injury and as a senior other health issues. We were given a room AS Far AWAY FROM THE LOBBY AS YOU COULD GO. I couldn't believe it! Front staff need to be more empathetic....but this is a management problem in my my mind! I thought when I booked this room we would only need a room to sleep as we had such a short time in town so it would be fine...the only good thing I can say about this place is it was clean. I was given a Tim Hortons coffee card when I left and do appreciate the offer but will not be staying here again!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay at our property. First I would like to apologizes for the misunderstanding about being checked in early, As we had a large group checking out the same day we were not ready for any early check-ins. In regards to your room being far from the elevator I do apologize for that however, we did try to accommodate you and move you and help move your things to a room closer to the elevator in which you refused. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case, we fell short. I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay and it is my hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you again.

This may be OK as a college dormitory , but as a hotel it left much to be desired. On the plus side, it was fairly roomy and quiet, at least until the periodic construction noises started. On the downside, the view in every direction is of parking lots. The walls were painted concrete or peeling wallpaper. Plaster was coming off the ceiling . There was a large bleach mark in the carpet. Broken blinds. Bedroom door would not close. Wifi only in the lounges. Bath towels that looked more like dish towels.

If you want a place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning, this is the place! If you are looking for room service and luxury, this ain't the place! We found it perfect for us ! Went to barrie for wedding reception and needed place to get ready and a place to sleep, it fit the bill! Long story short , it's a college residence that rents dorm rooms out during the summer months! I recommend this place for people travelling or people who don't need all the high end amenities! If you come here to save money ,just remember, you get what you paid for!
