I booked a room for Friday May 20th. My son and I checked in and back out within about an hour. There was an ant crawling on the table when I walked in the room, then about 20 mins later my son found several more on the floor by his bed. Two were crawling on the leather chair in the...

I have to say this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Wonderful helpful and friendly staff, excellent room, very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. Complimentary breakfast was well stocked with lots hot and cold food. The hotel is only a few minutes from Bayers Lake shopping. I will...

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family and puppy. It was clean and newly renovated. We enjoyed the breakfast! The front desk clerks were wonderful... so helpful every time I came to see them with questions! Matt and Blaine especially went out of their way to help us out on Sunday afternoon... thank you so much!

It was our first stay at the Chateau Bedford. It was lovely and new and very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfy. They had a complimentary continental breakfast. With lots of variety. The staff made sure everything was well stocked. We will definitely be back at stay on our next visit to Halifax.

This hotel is a great place to stay. Location and parking are good, it's renovated top to bottom, the hot breakfast is great, the coffee is really good; better than most specialty coffee places actually. But the staff are what make this an excellent place. Blaine and Shauna particularly stood out. When I lost my wallet, (subsequently found), they were...

We stayed for three nights at the Chateau Bedford because of a hockey tournament. We were put on the ground floor because we brought our dog. No kitchen in the room. Every morning you had hot breakfast buffet. Lots of choices and coffee was decent. That particular weekend was booked with lots of teams so it was busy. Always managed...

As noted in your comments, we do not allow our Room Attendants to service a room in which a dog is not secure for obvious safety reasons. Unfortunately, you had returned to the hotel after work hours and our housekeeping team had finished for the day. I understand we supplied you linen and towels at your request. We know pets...

We booked this online for off season weekday and got some great rates. Pool, breakfast, and not very busy while we were there. Close enough to downtown Halifax to be convenient for the tourist attractions.
