Beautiful room, free parking and a wonderful breakfast, what more could you ask for. How about a terrific location!! At the top of our must-see list was The National Immigration Museum at Pier 21 as well as the Blue Nose II. Within 15 minute walk of the Inn we were at the harbour. Excellent place to stay.......although we did hear...

We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and two nights near the end. It's a well-maintained historic property in an excellent location. The continental breakfast included ham, hard-boiled eggs, potatoes, and pancakes as well as cereals, yogurt, breads and pastries. (You would be hard-pressed to start the day hungry, although the coffee can be a bit rough.)...

Clean, unique, central, parking and breakfast included and reasonably priced for its locations. What's not to love. My four poster bed was super comfortable and while keeping the old world charm all modern convieniences were there! I love a 'hotel' with character and this place has it in spades! Super central downtown location! I will be back and this time...

We were very pleased with our stay here. Our room was a double on the third floor ( no elevators) so be sure this will work for you. We stayed 2 nights and everything was within walking distance excellent food, the harbor Boardwalk, nice continental breakfast every morning and free parking in the city. The hotel has a rich history...

We spent our one night in Halifax at the Waverley House. It is a lovely old building, Our room was plenty spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the main attractions; the Harborwalk was just a few blocks away. There are decent places to eat within an easy walk....

Very comfortable and clean room. Friendly and efficient staff. More than adequate Continental breakfast downstairs. Everything except shopping malls within walking distance, and restaurants by the dozens! Close to the Railway Station, where there is a Thrift Rental Car. The only thing missing to make this perfect was equipment to boil water and make tea or instant coffee. A minor...

This old hotel has been tastefully remodeled to its original style. The rooms are varied but furnished very comfortably. The room comes with a buffet breakfast. Although the front room we stayed in was beautiful, it suffered a bit from noise bleed from the bar across the street. Recommend a room to wards the back. Plenty of parking include in...

One can't get more historic than a 19th century inn visited by Oscar Wilde and other luminaries. We saw half a dozen rooms all different. Very good in downtown Halifax. The daytime concierge Chris is a pro.

I quite liked this hotel. As it has been a hotel since 1896, you get that feeling of old world charm. It is a great location. The room was a little dark, with only a small window, but perfectly adequate. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a nice quiet night's sleep, and the bed was comfy with a...

Unbelievably grand. Linens were thick and soft. Breakfast very nice. Tea, coffee and cookies in lobby all day. On site parking. Beautifully appointed rooms, lobby and sitting rooms. Easy walk to sites and restaurants. Lovely all around.
