A stay at Paradise Found is like a visit to good friends who welcome you into their home, entertain you with lively conversation and humour, and enrich your Cape Breton stay with more information about local events and places to see. The accommodations are spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Each room has a slightly different theme. There is a lovely...

We stayed here mid August 2010 for two nights. Rick and Connie were amazing hosts. Breakfast was lovely. I really thought it was neat to have the hosts sit at the end of the table during breakfast and stimulate conversation between guests. We met really nice people there! We got great ideas of what to do and what not to...

Rick and Connie could not have been more accomodating. My mom and I stayed 9/19 &20 and felt right at home. After Rick helped us with our bags, we were given the key to the house and our room, and were told to do just that. Beautiful and charmingly decorated, we explored their interesting and lovely things, including Connie's needlework...

We were fortunate to stay with Connie & Rick for 6 days to experience their outstanding hospitality and friendship. This was our second visit, the first was in 2003. And we felt as if we were coming home. The gourmet breakfasts Connie provided were delicious and the conversation at breakfast were always delightful. Our room (the Rose Room) is spacious,...

A Paradise Found is not a "corporate" B&B. The owners live on-site. They take pride in their home and enjoy welcoming others into it. They treat everyone like Family. There are quite a few guests that have remained friends. Every morning at breakfast, everyone is so friendly and the conversation is lively and abundant. Listining to the other guests discuss...

We spent 2 nights with Rick and Connie at A Paradise Found, and were very pleased with our choice. B & Bs are an excellent way to get a feel for a new place, and Rick and Connie were very helpful from before our arrival (excellent directions) throughout our stay (dead-on recommendation regarding the playhouse in Louisbourg). The house is...

The location is perfect, close to the events, casino, waterfront. Set on a quiet lovely street, with parking in the yard beside flowers and a gazebo. Our room was spacious, airy, with TV, huge walk-through closet, private bath, hydrangea decor. We both slept well on comfortable mattress, plentiful pillows and cozy blankets. But the best were the breakfasts. Edible flowers...

Rick and Connie were not only the perfect host and hostess (welcoming, quick to make recommendations and reservations for guests, etc.) but also educated, traveled and interesting. We spent a wonderful evening at a Cape Breton music performance that they recommended-and attended themselves- and the next morning spent far longer than we'd intended just chatting about everything from water colors...

This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The house was comfortable and a pleasure to stay at. The atmospehere was great and the hosts went out of their way to be helpful. We can't imagine finding a better place to stay for a tour of Cape Breton.

A very good B&B with hosts who couldn't do more to try to make you feel at home. Excelent communal breakfast, good for swapping tips. The room was spacious and comfortable and there were lost of books and guides to help plan your activities
