Beware: everything in Yellowknife is expensive so even this very normal hotel was expensive, I found. Few hotels in Yellowknife have breakfasts and even fewer have breakfast buffets: this one was no exception. You had to go trough a small shopping mall with a voucher to a restaurant to have breakfast. Bed was one of the best I have ever...

I checked in there as a overnight stop on my way further north. Front desk checkin was friendly. Elevator worked fine so I was optimistic for the room. But the dank, old smell that greeted me on the 4th floor was a good warning. Room was tiny, bathroom was run down and toilet barely flushed. I desperately wanted to keep...

Good downtown location within minutes walking to Black Knight Pub, Boston Pizza, and a liquor store. The lounge has shut down. Rooms are partially renovated and average, not much space. The elevator has been upgraded and is now much faster. Coffee supplies are a bit bland. Poor hotel parking which is where much of the inner downtowners hang out so...

I have not seen any thing in hotel category this disgusting. Ripped stained carpets, smells awful from vomit and alcohol. shame what $200.00 will get. Carpet in a room was so dirty, I had to wash my shoes when got home. I could not touch any thing. Not the housekeepers fault. Just run down, old, poorly maintained hotel in need...

Older hotel that is overpriced. Location is good and room is okay but just that. If I had it to do again I would stay at the Explorer or a new hotel Nova is just about to be finished. Lots of street people near by but they seem to be harmless But they are up all night drinking and making...

Okay so it's very central, right in the middle of everything and there's nothing that's more than 15 minutes away in any direction but I don't think i would stay again. Pros: *Central location *Wonderful staff *stored bags when we couldn't check in early and then once they could get us in they did *accommodated a late check out super...

I have been staying at this hotel for the past eight years. It is now a quality inn and I am very dissatisfied The room was extremely small (as the always were). The upgrade included a portable air conditioner that was taking some of the desk space away. Two days in a row we did not get housekeeping services. On...

This trip was a birthday gift for my gradaughters 16 birthday. The hotel is centrally located in the new part of town and was close to the festival. But....... This room had mouldy wallpaper as per the picture. The front desk staff is terrible. They instructed us the parking lot was around the back of the hotel. When we drove...

I stayed in this hotel overnight on a work trip. The room was small, but well appointed. The bathroom ceiling was showing its age (peeling paint/water damage etc) but everything else was clean and tidy. Towels were soft and fluffy, which was such a treat! Beds were comfortable and I slept well. This hotel is sufficient for a good night's...
