My granddaughter and I arrived for a mini-vacation to celebrate her 16th birthday. We checked into The Narrow for our 4 night stay, and were welcomed by Ann and instantly we felt like we had known her our entire lives. Our room was large and squeeky clean overlooking the harbour. A lovely corner by the window had comfy chairs to sit...

The Narrows is a great choice of accommodation. The location couldn't be better (unless you have trouble walking up and down hills), the room was beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were very warm and helpful. Good value too. I recommend it highly.

Great staff,Anne and Brenda both were very helpful.......would rate breakfast as average .varies by the day....eggs come with toast only....room very small, I wouldn't describe as cozy, but clean. Very good location as long as you can manage steep hills.

After just one night in the lovely place it felt like I was home. Ann, the owner, was welcoming , gracious and wealth of information regarding the area. It is a short walk to bustling Water Street and famous George Street. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was great and the coffee was hot. I will be returning to The...

The owner is a great person; extremely comfortable rooms; typical Canadian breakfast prepared by owner was no a problem, but may not please all tastes; excellent wi-fi connection; superb location; bus stops nearby; safe neighborhood; books in rooms and pictures on the wall help guests to feel and live the local culture.

We stayed there this past July. First time at a B&B. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was clean and cosy. They were most helpful in letting us know of places to visit and directions. I would recommend this place to anyone that is visiting St. John, Newfoundland.

The location is great...walking distance to St. John's Harbour and George St. We even walked to Signal Hill. Our room was on the first floor. It was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Ann and Brenda were soooo friendly. When Brenda welcomed...

We wanted a B&B right downtown and came across The Narrows. Our room was on the second floor, beautifully and elegantly furnished, with a full bathroom. Everything including our key and parking pass were all ready awaiting our arrival. The sitting area was comfortable and we ate a delicious breakfast in the adjoining dining room. We were a couple of...

Anne, Brenda and Sheila received us with a warm welcome and treated us like royalty for a whole week! They were helpful in letting us know what to see in and around St . John's. They even looked after our transportation. We used O'Briens for our whale and bird sighting trips and Anne was able to schedule us in right...
