This hotel offers a very clean and comfortable room in a quiet location a short walk from the downtown area. I was extremely impressed with the room, the helpful staff, and the kitchen facilities available to and guest who wants to do a bit of self-catering. My only criticism is the quality of the breakfast. While there is abundance and...

We were traveling as a group of 8 and wanted to be in the same location. We also wanted a place in downtown St. John's within walking distance to Signal Hill, shops, pubs, etc. This place met these criteria well. We thought the price was reasonably because we could rent a three bedroom house, and use the pull-out couch at...

Booked this spot because everything else was full and ended up very pleased. Nice rooms and the continental breakfast is nice as well. Very clean and also, from what I've heard, just as nice if not nicer than some of the big name hotels in the area. Free long distance anywhere in canada was exceptionally nice! Would definately use again.

We were a group of 6 couples on a golfing holiday. The Hometel is a row of town houses, each with three bedrooms, three bathrooms plus a lounge (which can be used as a 4th bedroom) and kitchen. The houses have 3 floors, with two of the bedrooms on the top floor and one on the street level. The two...

Located right in the middle of downtown St John's. I did not have a car so it is a perfect option for the ones who don't want to drive or want to walk more. I stayed here after reading the views and they were spot on. The breakfast is good - eggs, muffins/bread, cereal/oatmeal, coffee and tea. You have access...

We stayed at No. 5 St Joseph's Lane. It is a two bedroom condo which is great for entertaining. Feels like a home away from home. The Hometel staff are very accomodating and looked after any needs we had.You can even go across the street for breakfast. The location is perfect, very close to downtown restaurants and shops. Also very...

As a group of five women this was perfect as we booked three rooms and got a whole townhouse to ourselves. Each room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as we could walk everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast was simple, muffins, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh juice, toast and cereal. There was lots of food...
