My parents and I stayed in Banberry House for two nights. Although there were some mix-ups in the bookings, they were quickly resolved and we ended up really enjoying our stay at Banberry House. The house is very close to the downtown area in St. John's and walk distance from most of the amenities. The rooms were clean and very...

Wonderful 3 days at this lovely 1892 house. Howard and Eileen are perfect hosts and the breakfasts were excellent. We would definitely make a return visit. The house is beautifully decorated and we felt very elegant when served breakfast enjoying the company of the other guests.

Great location, yummy breakfasts, comfy rooms, but Eileen and Howard are the best reason to stay here. When my wife's knee gave out, Eileen came to the rescue with a cold compress from her freezer. Then, when a downstairs room became available, she insisted we move down there to spare the knee from unnecessary steps. We hesitated because we were...

A charming heritage house a short walk to everything in the old city. Spacious and comfortable rooms, full breakfasts to order, and very informative, congenial hosts. Thank you very much, Eileen and Howard!

Stayed here three times in June 2016. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and great location. We were made most welcomed by the hosts and had other guests with lots to talk about. The hosts more than exceeded our expectations in a genuine manner and natural hospitality. Yes we'd stay here again.

We started off our trip here and it was truly enjoyable. Having spent 14 days in B&B's across the province, we look back at this one as one of the best. It is on a busy street but that is not an issue for us, especially with the windows closed. Breakfasts were one of the best anywhere we stayed and...

We just returned from a wonderful 6 days in St. John's. It was our first visit to Newfoundland, so we were unsure about the best area to stay in the city. How fortunate that we found the Banberry House! It had everything we needed as other reviewers have mentioned accurately, but we loved the location in such easy walking distance...

We had the ground floor room. It was very nice - quite dark but that's how they built them in the 1890s! The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever had the privilege of sleeping in. The shower curtain could do with a wash but other than that the bathroom was fine. Our host was friendly but not overly...

My wife and I and two of our friends recently stayed at Banberry House for four nights and had a really enjoyable stay. Eileen and Howard are wonderful hosts and are lots of fun. Eileen prepared an excellent breakfast including yoghurt and fresh fruit and eggs, bacon and sausages, happily accommodating my wife's request for gluten-free. After enviously noticing Howard...

This B&B is in a perfect location. Only a 10 minute walk from George Street and another 5 to the harbor. The house itself has a ton of character. The room we stayed in was large, well-appointed and very clean. It was even better than I expected! The host is delightful and provided a great deal of information about St....
