I just got back from a multi-day tour to the Tundra Buggy Lodge. It's incredible. I was co-leading photography speciality tours there. We saw 22+ polar bears, ate great food in the dining room and struck out of day tours in their very cool buggies....More

One goes out on the Tundra to see the bears copngregate as the ice is forming on Hudson Bay. This doesn't happen until October.

I can't comment on SINGLE travel as our group was 10 X couples. Another group appeared to have single travellers and there did not seem to be any "isolation". WOULD I DO IT AGAIN? --- Probably not given the expense and the... More
