Stayed here for one night, came in for a concert and chose this hotel because it is close to the Keystone Center. Hotel is older and could use some updating but the room was fairly clean and comfortable. Very stingy with towels and coffee. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillow was so lumpy that I barely slept. Didn't...

Friendly staff and clean rooms. The place needs a renovation. Priced right. Great location for what we were here for, near keystone. It's just is run down and needs a clean up renovation. Still a good place to stay.

My boyfriend , daughter and I stayed here! The rooms were clean and the beds were fabulous! Pillow were amazing! The breakfast was awesome! The pool even tho there wasn't a slide my 9 year old daughter still had a blast! It's close to almost everything and the staff was amazing. Lane was his name! He was friendly and curtious!...

Price was right. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is quite dated and could use a lot of updating and maintenance. Did not go in the pool so not sure about that. Breakfast was okay and again the staff was quite friendly. We would stay elsewhere if we return to Brandon.

Thats all, its ok. A value price makes it ok. Some rooms reek of cigarettes but if you avoid that you can have a nice stay for a low price. Parking is challenging so I dont recommend this one if you are driving a big vehicle or pulling a trailer. The Staff was attentive and did a good job. Breakfast...

I forgot my phone charger in the room and when I went back they had it ready for me to pick up. unbelievable service. Really a place that can accommodate EVERYBODY!

Other reviewers have correctly commented on the Colonial Inn as being dated, and that's true. I feel other travellers may be interested in a few additional observations: Our welcome after registering at the front desk was extended by being presented with graffiti in the stairwell. Large 8-inch letters were smeared on the staircase wall in red lipstick. Then, after entering...

After a disappointing reception in a Kenora Ont. hotel on a road trip, it was a pleasure to find that this hotel had been booked properly, with very pleasant front desk staff, a great room and breakfast included.

Pros: Good for a cheap place to crash. Good location in the city, near the keystone and several restaurants. Cons: Breakfast buffet was.. The hotel itself is quite dated. Not bad overall.. isn't anything fancy but okay to crash in for a night or two.

Conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants and the Keystone Centre. Rooms are reasonably clean, but facility is hideously outdated. Good choice if all you need is a bed for the night.
