I stayed at Whistler Lodge Hostel for two weeks in April 2017 - my best experience in a hostel so far. The staff are lovely, the building and facilities are awesome and there is a very relaxed, welcoming feel to the place. Great for solo travelers as well as groups. Make sure you bring a swimming costume for the hot...

Nights Stayed 6 June – 8 June Clean, Comfortable and Cozy. This summarises Whistler Lodge Hostel. Clean – The showers, the beds, the common area and the kitchen are all super clean areas. Although the building is old, the interior is well maintained and it definitely has that rustic feel of a building. You are required to drop off your...

Great value hostel, very clean and modern interior. The dorms are well away from the communal area so nice and quiet. The hot tub is great after a day on the slopes. The only negative is the long steps up to the entrance, it's a bit of a work out!

Stayed 6 nights and wish I’d stayed more - - because hotel rates have doubled this year. Stayed with my ski buddy, we’re both near 70 and had a great time. Staff and guests were of all ages, from all over the world and were all great. That was the best part of the stay. Kylie and Pam worked the...

Thanks for your review Stephen! We had a couple issues with the building during your stay if I recall - pilot light went out on the boiler so we ran out of hot water for the first time in 2 years!! Admittedly, the internet was a big issue as well during a 7-10 day period from what appeared to be...

I stayed 2 nights at Whistler Lodge Hostel. There is some good & some bad. I didn't see the private room, so this is in regard to the shared dorm spaces (both men & women). First, when the beds are mattress pads nestled in little cubby type spaces, not real or bunk beds I found myself waking up with a...

This was my first time staying at a hostel and it definitely debunked all my horrifying visions. The staff were all great and everything was clean. The bedrooms dont have doors but each bed had its own privacy curtain which was great.

Without question the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The staff, from the manager Andrew, to reception staff Pamela, Carl and Kylie, as well the bed makers Leo and Will, and Joel, were all awesome and couldn't have been friendlier. It felt like a big home, warm and clean, with excellent kitchen facilities and allocated space for everyone in the...

Everything was really easy at the Whistler Lodge Hostel. Price was very reasonable, friendly and helpful staff, and clean bed/bathroom. The den was homey and comfortable, and right next to the kitchen. Locker space was more than enough, and lots of space to store gear. Quick bus ride to the Village, and if you'd rather walk you can take the...

Awesome hostel, best hostel I've stayed in, feels more like a house with the chilled out lounge and large kitchen. Really well laid out, the 'dorms' basically feel like open rooms and it's so easy to meet people or have privacy if you prefer with curtained beds. Top location, incredibly friendly staff, really clean and well maintained with great showers,...

My friend and I stayed in this hostel for 5 nights at the end of January and we're really happy with the place. The whole place feels fresh, spacious and clean whilst also being very comforting and warm. The beds are very tidy and much bigger than any other hostel single bed I've stayed in. All the facilities are great...
