I stayed at the FCW at the end of September for work and what really sets the FCW from other hotels is the emphasis on customer service. From my check in with Maeve, to the poolside drink servers, hardworking housekeepers and staff in the hotel restaurants (shout out to Elisa in

We have stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler on several occasions over the years. The facility is excellent. There are a selection of restaurants, including the bar where we can sit on high top chairs at the edge of the bar and our small dog can join us while we eat. Ski

The resort is amazing, a winter wonderland. Our room, 326, however wasn't exactly what I was told I would get, e.g. no Juliet balcony. It also had a number of broken and not working things like windows not closing and locking for example. The indoor \ outdoor heated pool is a

We stayed there for several days straddling New Years day. It's a gorgeous old hotel with fairly modern rooms. We generally enjoyed ourselves. Our focus was more on the town than the hotel. We'd stayed there in the past in the winter and loved it. The town and slopes are

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, they are. They even have some incredible mats for them to use while you are at the bar

We have had visitors while Gold Floor guests. They are trying to project a homelike ambience. I would however agree with Mandy below that there may be peak times when unable to accommodate visitors.

Good morning. I would say that the odds are pretty good for snow in late November. In the high alpine for sure,as far as in the village,it depends on how cold it is... It may be raining in the village, but that only means ,snow up high😁 I hope this helps...

Generally a mountain view refers to the back of the hotel looking up the ski slopes but the front of the hotel also looks over the valley and the mountains beyond. The only rooms that don't really have some sort of expansive view are the ones on the back side which look directly at the side of the mountain but then you have the view of the trees which are very beautiful as well. It is really hard to go wrong!

Good question. It all depends on what you like most. I had stunning views of the first with the gold suite and I loved it. My suggestion, call ahead and ask for a Mountain View (if possible), and book gold. This way you enjoy best of both. Good luck!!!
