We've stayed here a couple of times before, and it is now our home away from home in Victoria. Pros: Friendly staff, very clean, remodeled older building with better than average finishes. Location beside the Provincial museum is excellent. Walk to all the inner harbor and downtown shopping attractions. One of the few places left with real kitchenettes: full sized... More

Staff was extremely accommodating Suite well equipped even tho we did not need to use kitchenette. Beds comfy, room and building were quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Very good price and well located, close to bus line, parliament, waterfront, ferries.

We stayed here because it is walking distance to attractions and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. There is no elevator but this was not an issue for us. If you have mobility issues there are ground floor units. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed with friends, we had 3 rooms and all were clean and well appointed. Great location as well. The rooms are older but well kept and clean. The 3 buildings are all well appointed with décor. No elevator so if you have mobility issues ask for a bottom floor. No complaints about this hotel as its well managed and reasonably... More

First things first the location of the Helm's Inn Victoria is fantastic! It is within a 3 min walk from the Bc Legislature building and the fairmont empress. With shops and a supermarket nearby, too. The rooms were nice and the kitchenette was well stocked with free use of everything. The rooms were clean but there were evident signs of... More

Really good location. Close to the parc, to the ocean and to the city. There is a well equipped kitchen and the person at the front desk is helpful and nice. There is a free parking in front of the hotel. Our room was a bit dark because of the building close to the windows.

Very friendly staff. Me and the family got to the hotel very early and they were more then happy to look after the bags till check in time. The room was great with our own little kitchen and 2 double beds. With the hotel only being a throw away from the harbour it was great to see all the day... More

This hotel is in a fabulous location. Perfect for walking around town. Right by Royal BC Museum, Empress Hotel and the Legislature. Best of all across the street from Beacon Park. This is a quaint little hotel. With a very friendly front desk. My only problem is with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It had a tab around the toilet... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights while celebrating our "babymoon". We were impressed with the size of our room and the cleanliness. I thought the location was great and we walked to several sites around town. Never had a problem finding a parking spot at the hotel as well. Wife was great too. I think the... More

No bells and whistles but the ideal location and good price compared to other hotels in the area. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and great free wi-fi. Off street parking was important to us as we were on motorcycles. General appearance and buildings could use updating.
