We very much enjoyed the Parkside Hotel & Spa. experience. We hope to stay here again. We had a bad experience with booking the wrong date through Expedia. Virtually impossible to get this changed using my iphone. The Tofino Best Western front desk representative worked diligently and persistently to get a warm body at Expedia who reluctantly approved the change at the agreed price. The front desk rep at Parkside was unwilling or unable to help get the date changed. Through this experience I leaned not to trust Expedia.

I have stayed a multiple hotels in Victoria and always go back to the Parkside. The staff are always friendly, the rooms always clean and very comfortable. I feel right at home when I stay, even for a night. Highly recommend, the location is excellent too.

Staff friendly, has all the right amenities included. Clean and super close to wander around downtown, or borrow a bike and go a little further. Starting to show its age, but still very much comfortable and clean.

The Hotel is not only at the heart of the Harbor, close to everything, but also a very cozy hotel. Staying there late November was a wonderful experience as the Christmas decoration as astounding, made my business trip, extra special.

A very clean, and welcoming hotel. Perfect location for walking to town, and local parks/attractions. Pet friendly, with dog bowls, bed, and treats. We didn’t use the pool/spa, but enjoyed the room amenities. Functional kitchen with all the necessary accoutrements for a two night hotel stay…even real cream servings in the fridge for your coffee! Heated bathroom floors, and a beautiful free standing soaker tub in the master bathroom. A small outdoor patio with seating for two. Two fireplaces (that work!), and two TVs (didn’t use.). A speaker with Bluetooth connectivity. Secure underground parking (for a fee). Easy to unload car and take elevator direct to room. Overall an easy, pleasant, hotel stay. Will definitely return.

We stayed with our extended family. It was lovely to have different rooms with kitchens. We used the bikes and pool a lot. It’s suck a bikeable city. We wish we had spent more time in the park nearby. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Stayed in a beautiful 1 bedroom suite. Comfy beds. Immaculate. Having a kitchen was very helpful. Lovely high quality fair traded coffee and the tea is from Victoria's famous Silk Road Tea. As this is a 'green' hotel, there are even shopping bags provided made from upcycled hotel curtains. Big spacious lobby and Koi pond. Easy to walk many places from the hotel. Coffee bar/cafe off lobby.
