first time here. We usually go to a different hotel but decided to try this one and were not disappointed. Central location on the waterfront. Easy walking to all local destinations. While the hotel is older it is very clean and we enjoyed our stay. As a bonus they provide a continental breakfast and free parking. Would stay here again.

The hotel was well maintained inside and out. Room was spacious and it was quiet. They go out of their way to make you happy. My only negative comment was no way to take luggage, etc to 1st floor (pet floor), as it was stairs. Elevator is for down and up from 1st floor.

I loved the reception area with the old wood and nostalgic feeling. The staff was courteous but not friendly upon arriving as well as leaving no “ welcome it’s great to have you, and how was your stay, have a great day” We had a booking for tea at the Pendray Inn and absolutely loved the food and experience. The hostess was amazing and the feeling of the place was exactly what we had expected, so now it was confirmed, we booked the wrong rooms. The noise from the top floor over our room was very noisy and not that it didn’t stop at 11pm , we were trying to make it an early night which proved to be impossible. The breakfast the next morning was not good, the food was mostly prepackaged and not fresh. I would like to come back but stay at the Pendray Inn the sister property, hoping it will be what I envision, I am all for giving a second chance.

We had an excellent stay over Christmas this year. The staff were so friendly, helpful and gracious and the room was spacious and comfortable. It helped immensely that there was a room which could accommodate my sister's dog and also that we had a kitchenette. The breakfast was very good and there was a fireplace beside which we could play games. The location by the Parliament buildings and downtown could not have been better.
