We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and varied every morning. Service was spot on, my coffee cup was never dry! Room was clean and tidy, with a huge soaker tub, which was a bonus. Loacation is ideal since so many things are

The Inn is warm and charming, and so conveniently close to all in downtown Victoria! We did not need a car. I was traveling on a “girls” trip, and my room had an entire expanse of windows that looked out to a courtyard. You also had a private door to a patio deck..( Hint, Room 19

The lovely staff at Rosewood Inn is quite solicitous and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and roomy baths. The breakfast room is on the "intimate side" meaning you feel that you're a part of everyone else's conversation. Very well located

The place is very nicely decorated. However, there is no elevator, limited parking and you MUST pay $15 for breakfast which my husband never eats. There was some repairs which should be made in our unit. We wouldn't stay here again unless we have no other choice.

We love this place! We just finished our second stay here in the past 4 years, and we are looking forward to another in the future. We were hoping to get the same room we had last time, but we did not. This one was even better! Very spacious and well-appointed. Yes, you do have

Does the 2 room suite sleep 4 privately- 1 Queen bed in each room?
The two room suite has a queen bed in each room. There is only one full bath to be shared by all the occupants.

We booked a Hotel 2 Room Suite. What does that mean and where is it located within the hotel? We are VI members. Thank you for your help. The Sheehans
Thank you for your question. The Hotel 2-Room Suite means it has 2 rooms instead of the standard Hotel room the others are. There are 2 Queen beds, 1 full bath, no kitchen, gas fireplace and shared deck.

When describing rooms, it says if you want privacy be sure to specify because some rooms have a two way view???? What is a two way view?
I'm sorry I didn't respond to your question earlier. I've never used this before and I am green about this and about finding my way about on computers. I just found your question now. I was not in any rooms other than mine. I was on the 2nd floor and we had to climb the stairs to it although our room was nicely situated at the top of the 2nd floor. There is no elevator as far as I know. Some older folks had to go to the third floor which I'm sure would be difficult with luggage. In our room we had a window that overlooked the parking lot. In the sitting area there were double doors that opened to a balcony. If you were on the back T or had the drapes opened, it would look across into rooms on the other side (there was a gap in the two bldgs which were adjoining. If you had a room on the front of the bldg I'm sure you would look across the street to a small store that has fresh flowers on the street and sells some food items, newspapers and the like. It visa residential area so there's houses on all the streets. It is a short walk to the government centre and the museum etc. We had a car rental so drove all the time and left the area. We drove up to Tofino one day and to other areas. The rosewood had umbrellas by the door for residents to use and it has a small parking lot. If the lot is full one had to park on the street which is busy too. Hope this helps and again I apologize for my delay in replying.

"We were told that our rooms were chosen by a computer but all of the rooms were nice that I saw."
"Room 20, great location and access. A little noisy in the AM but nothing too horrible. Only one flight up the stairs!"
"Some rooms face the busy street- look for a room on the other side of the Inn."
"The place has squeaking floors cause it is the age of the building but this adds to the charm"
"You can't choose, a computer randomly assigns the room the morning of check-in"
