I booked a two night stay at this motel to have a place to stay close to home while movers were emptying out my condo. The motel called me direct a short while later telling me they don't rent to locals and suggested I take my business elsewhere. I told the clerk I am a professional hotel accountant and have...

My husband and I booked a last minute 2 night stay when the family we were coming to visit/stay with all got the flu! We arrived late in the evening but I had corresponded with the front desk and they left our key under the mat for us. When we arrived we instantly noticed that the neighborhood left much to...

We had good luck with this property, were able to park motorcycles within sight. The rooms were clean, air conditioner worked, fresh towels, glasses to drink from instead of plastic. I am not sure what people expect to get on the island for 100 bucks, but this place was as good as any other property under 150 bucks we lodged...

The place is nicely located, quiet, clean. The smoking area thing is VERY annoying, if you happen to be in that vicinity, the second hand smoke is sucked in through your A/C which is not great. It's worth about the 100 per night they charge, I wouldn't pay a penny more.

First The Robin Hood is a nice small, inexpensive and clean accommodation in a quite central location off down town Victoria. No problem with that at all. BUT We have stayed there 2 or 3 times a year for 1 or 2 days for five or more years. And in the last few trips we have tried to reserve one...

We arrived a few minutes after 11:00pm, and the notice on the office door had a phone number and extension to call if you come after 11:00pm. When we called it, the extension was to a room at the motel, which was occupied by a guest (whom we woke up), not the resident manager. We then called the number without...

It's true what other people have posted. The motel is just minutes from downtown but not charging the downtown price. From the outside it looks plain and has a big tree growing up thru the front parking lot, looks like a redwood.. Space is limited up front but there are more spaces in the back even with the second floor...

The Robin Hood Hotel is your home away from home. The suites are clean and well laid out. The staff, from manager to cleaning are simply outstanding. You will not meet a more friendly and helpful group of people who make your stay a most pleasant experience. We met people who have wintered there for as long as twenty years....
