I booked this hotel because of its central location and reasonable price. I was expecting an older hotel and was very happy that it appeared to have been through a renovation recently. Most everything looked new and made our stay a very pleasant one. We were in a king bed room which we found to be very comfortable for two people. The only issue was the heating which we had to turn on and off to keep the room at a comfortable temperature . The bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine with lots of hot water. Breakfast was your standard continental buffet, not a lot of options but all we needed. The buffet are was very clean with someone cleaning the serving spoons whenever they were used. The area was quiet too.

We needed to stay down in vic after bad weather and didn’t feel like bunking with family so we ended up looking up a preferred hotel list from work and this was on the list. We’ve stayed at other places close by but this was amazing value for the money. I was a little unsure because it seemed a little dated in a few pics, the outside not toooo much to write home about, elevator a bit slow BUT We had a top floor corner room and once we figured out where the heater was(it was -9 outside) it was fantastic hahah. The staff are so kind and accommodating, the inclusion of a “continental” buffet breakfast was soo much more than we expected, the kitchen staff were right there to be helpful (and share a laugh at my lack of skill when I’m half asleep lol) and parking included to boot…. I think I’ve found my go-to crash pad!

Although this inn is 30 plus years old, it has been updated and is very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included with the room price was fairly extensive with several staff on duty to keep all food items well stocked and the area immaculate.

This is an awesome place to stay to use as a jumping off point to all things Victoria! We found it to be clean and friendly. The room was very adequate to our needs and actually newer and more upscale than our expectations. The two points that put it over the top for recommendation are free parking and breakfast--not a very common amenity in this area. If you stay for any number of days, the savings in both money and hassle add considerable value to an already great accommodation.

Staff was so kind and thoroughly looked after my Mom and her friend when she came to Victoria for a hospital procedure. Mom had to stay in hospital overnight unexpectedly while her friend was at loose ends for a whole day waiting for mom. Front desk upgraded their room on the second night and kept Sylvia entertained the whole time. The two senior women really enjoyed their stay in the friendly, comfortable inn called the Embassy. Even the view was lovely.
