We want to thank Gary & Warren for a wonderful stay at the Beaconsfield Inn. They created a perfect getaway from our busy lives. Made a special occasion all that more special. You are transported back to a simpler time that makes you slow-down to appreciate all the attention to detail and peacefullness.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review. The library is a warm and cozy meeting place for guests, tea, cookies, sherry and new friends.... ideal. Hope we have converted you to further B&B experiences, at The Beaconsfield of course !!

Our first bed and breakfast experience was an exceptionally pleasant one at the Beaconsfield B&B in Victoria B.C. The hosts Gary and Warren were attentive but not overbearing and every measure was taken to ensure comfort and privacy. The libary room is a great place to relax with comfortable sofas and almost real fire. Besides being blessed with great weather,...

The congenial hosts welcomed us into this lovingly maintained heritage home. The rooms are spacious & tastefully decorated with antiques. Tea, sherry and cookies were available in the library during the afternoon and early evening. Breakfast is served in the dining room or the bright conservatory. Small touches like classical music CDs and chocolates in the rooms were much appreciated....

All of our guest rooms are unique and somewhat themed , some more masculine like our Emily Carr Suite and some more feminine like our Parlour Suite. Sorry about no plug by the bed, we have attempted to update this historic 1905 home with as many convenient accessories as possible, let us know which you stayed in and we will...

When we go to Victoria we always try a different place but this one is so wonderful that we will go back next time… The hosts were friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the room beautiful and filled with light, and the food outstanding. It is within walking distance to the bus downtown but in a quiet neighbourhood, close...

Such a warm and inviting place to be. I would love to return just to sit in the parlour reading books, chatting with other guests and enjoying sherry hour. Gary, the inn keeper, was kind and gracious. I felt it was a home away from home. What a treat!

This was our second stay at the Beaconsfield Inn. From the moment you step through the front door you are transported back into a time of elegance and serenity. Gary and Warren's attention to detail is found in the countless artifacts from the early 1900's and in the excellent service. If you want an escape this is the place to...

What a visual you created in writing your review, thank you for doing that. Geez, I want to go to the Beaconsfield Inn and sit in front of the fireplace....oh.... wait a minute I am here, LOL Experiencing a touch of history in this 1905 historically designated home does give one goose bumps, even for us when we walk through...

What a beautiful house and amazing hosts! We stayed for 3 nights in the McClure Room which was at the front of the house right of the entrance. Gorgeous period features throughout our room and the house itself, which is perfectly located not more than 10 mins walk into town. We arrived out of normal hours but were welcomed in...
