I wish it were possible to give more than five stars to this wonderful boutique hotel, nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a few short blocks from downtown Victoria BC. My husband and I stayed here years ago and loved it, so when a friend asked me to join her in Victoria, I suggested that we stay here. It was...

Abigails is a small hotel adjacent downtown Victoria. It is more of a B & B than a hotel, both in character and amenities. It's location gives one the feel of being part of the neighbourhood but still within easy walking of all Victorias highlights. Appetizers and wine were wonderful as was the included breakfast. Most likely the most comfortable...

We travel a lot but despite living in Vancouver, we rarely get to Victoria. This time we went with a sister and brother in law for a reunion of sorts with old friends and picked the Abigail because of the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. This is a fabulous place to stay - great look and feel of the...

This was our first visit to Victoria and staying at Abigail's was second to none... Outstanding food, service, staff, and everything in between. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others if visiting Victoria. I can't wait to return!!

I have done a lot of travelling around the world and I usually don't like to stay in the same place twice, but every time I go to Victoria I stay at Abigail's. I made the mistake once of staying somewhere else and ended up day dreaming of the comfortable beds, the beautiful quiet rooms, the lovely garden and the...

We stayed here for one night and it was sublime. We were greeted by a very friendly young woman who went above and beyond to show us around and take us to our room. It was like being welcomed into someone's home. ALL of the staff (tended to be young women) were super friendly. The breakfast (we ate outside) was...

The highlight of Victoria. Great personal service, nice clean rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. A very well run establishment and would highly recommend for a romantic getaway. My only slight negative is the room had a small sink with very little room for my wife to put curling iron, hair dryer, etc.

We have been staying at Abigail's for yeArs and have never been disappointed. Their food is delicious and they were great to accommodate a food allergy. We love the rooms and especially the soaker tub.

Three years ago we came here, dividing our time between Abigail's and The Empress (Fairmont). We enjoyed our time at Abigail's more so this time we stayed just here. It was even more beautiful, as they have made some updates, but they had the same friendly staff and great touches to make your stay special. I love the breakfast each...

We stayed one night at Abigail's. Our room, although small, was very cozy and quaint. We loved the setting and walked to the center of town easily. It was a great spot. The breakfast was outstanding!!!! We sat in the small courtyard and had scrambled eggs with baby shrimp, toast, juice, and a great ambiance. The quality of sleeping was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Abigail's Hotel is a unique accommodation experience that blurs the lines between a small luxury hotel and a heritage bed-and-breakfast Inn. Abigail's is an adult-only, intimate 23-room property that is housed in a 1930's Tudor mansion. Its special atmosphere blends the romance and charm of the past with the comfort and convenience of modern accommodation. Located in romantic Victoria, British Columbia, Abigail's is quietly situated on the edge of the bustling downtown core and is three short blocks from Victoria's Inner Harbour, within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions and restaurants. Life is too short to be conventional, discover a splendour and charm that has been lost to the ages and uniquely exists at Abigail's. ... more   less
