Everything about the hotel is excellent! More than accommodating to whatever you may need. Far exceeds expectations of service and cleanliness! Great location, within walking distance from many Victoria sights and venues.
A very classy place to stay and such a great location to enjoy all the sights and sounds of this beautiful city. Always a pleasure to stay here. This is my third time staying at this hotel and every time it has never disappointed us.
Great hotel Great location. I would have given a 5 star but the bed. Our bd was so hard. If you like a very firm mattress then this is the place. The staff was excellent, and the welcoming package for our small dog was a nice surprise, our dog loved it.
We came to Victoria to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversay. The Grand Pacific was the perfect place for us. We had a wonderful suite and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, inner harbour and ďowntown Victoria. Overall it was a great place to stay.
Picked the hotel because it overlooked the water. Even though we paid for a suite, we got a view of the Days Inn and Best Western, The hotel was not busy. They could have easily chosen to put us in a better room. The hotel needs some updating. Uninspired room. Room service delivered wrong thing for breakfast. We never got the right thing because we had to leave.
The Hotel Grand Pacific was a wonderful hotel! It's situated right in the heart of everything. They have a restaurant on the premises but if you wanted another option, there are several close by. If you are taking the Black Ball Ferry, the hotel is directly across the street. The employees were so nice we felt like we were apart of the family. I would definitely recommend this hotel
This site is grand and impressive yet very comfortable and inviting. Service was top notch and friendly. The hotel is amazingly clean and immaculate. So close to all amenities and the site restaurant is top notch for food and service. Rooms are quiet, clean and well appointed, with solid internet. This is a fairly expensive hotel but you will not find anything that does not meet very high standards across the board for your stay.
While the hotel seems a little tired the Pacific Restaurant more than makes up for it. The food was exceptional, and the staff were so nice and helpful, despite the current difficulties with staffing. We were here with a tour group, had breakfast twice and dinner once. The Sunchoke Soup was a standout, I really liked the Pickles and Hummus too. The bartender is quite knowledgeable and helpful. Avocado Toast for breakfast was a winner, and my husband really enjoyed the Blueberry pancakes. Presentation was outstanding.
To keep this short I will just say that the guest services and care and attention was far below what you would hope for in a alleged four-star hotel. Make sure you check your room to see that is exactly what was reserved for a view. I became ill with Covid the first night I was there. I advised the hotel of such in order that staff didn’t come to the room. Not once did I hear from the front desk or management if there was anything that they could help me with. I was isolating and quite sick for two days and they could’ve cared less. No phone call no here’s a number to a medical clinic no can we send up some water or juice or just simply a simple act of kindness checking in. In fact when I was checking out after five days of isolation the front desk clerk told me after a 30 minute wait for a luggage help , that I needed to step away I was still infecting And putting them at the front desk at risk. I was the one wearing the mask they were not. It was just simply ridiculous for what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Currently they are terribly understaffed. And the ones who are there are otherwise not attentive. I accept that my vacation was totally ruined by Covid but it could have been made less miserable with compassion And kindness by the hotel. But that’s not there business.…
I don't know what happened to my first review so I am resubmitting. There was a hole in one inch wide near the window that spanned two room. I could see the light coming from another room and hear TV. They changed the room. Otherwise the customer service is uhelpfull..my institution has made an advance payment in full, and I guess I have to stay in this depressive place for a week. Stay away from this place, it does not deserve 4 stars, it's a scam. I returned to change clothes and observed a man cleaning my room. He did not clean the bathtub or a sink. The hair on the photo is not mine ...anyway I would like to pick my battles and live with mistakes. I should have been less trustful of the stars .learn from me
