This is a very nice property with a good location near the waterfront and convention centre, The decor is warm and inviting while also being modern and luxurious. The room was very comfortable though the heating unit was very noisy. We were very disappointed with the basic continental breakfast at a hotel of this standard. It should have been better....

Stayed here for 8 nights with my family in a suite and overall had a great stay. The hotel itself is a nicely appointed boutique hotel narrow and high - 14 floors. The room we were in was nicely furnished with flat screen tv's a fantastic bed and a great bathroom with shower, bath and underfloor heating. We also had...

We only stayed one night at the Loden and weren't familiar with the hotel prior to our visit. We had a fantastic visit and would highly recommend the location to anyone staying downtown. The Loden is about 3 blocks west of the main shopping mall (and 3 blocks north of Robson St) - you are in a great place to...

We had a lovely weekend at the Lowden hotel. The room was beautiful, modern and overlooked the garden courts and the False Creek harbour. It had a deep bathtub and a separate shower. Terrific interior design. Very comfortable and very quiet. We would definitely come again to this hotel. Large windows, very clean. Valet will drive you to city centre...

We stayed for 5 nights in early October. What a delight! The room was lovely and the staff was fabulous. The location is great - a bit out of the main touristy part of center city, but close to Stanley Park and easy access to public transportation and restaurants. The hotel also provides bikes and with them (helmets provided too!)...

Stayed here for 4 days combination of business and pleasure. Incredibly friendly, professional staff. Much more charming than a larger hotel, many of the finer details of a five star hotel (bikes, private car service, well-equipped gym, water placed bedside in the evening, et al). Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Loden Hotel for a one-night getaway to celebrate my 40th birthday. We got one a park vista room on the 11th floor and couldn't believe how beautiful and well appointed the room was. From the floor to ceiling wrap-around windows, to the thoughtfully placed light fixtures and amazing mood lighting, all the...

Vancouver is one of the best cities on the planet and the Loden Hotel is part of that experience. It feels like a relaxing retreat as soon as you enter its doors. Stayed here last October and feel in love with the place! We swore we'd be back, and almost a year to the day we spent five amazing nights...

We had a nice stay at the Loden. In summary: -staff is very friendly -free taxi service is great and the fact that the taxi looks like a dog makes it even more fun! -free bikes to use to cruise around town -location in city center means you can walk everywhere (if you can't ride a bike or are afraid...

What a wonderful stay we just had at the Loden Vancouver. The rooms are modern and luxurious with impeccable bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. The hotel offers complimentary car service to the local hotspots which we found very convenient in the sometimes wet weather of Vancouver. But truly the gem of this hotel was the staff. Our stay could have gone...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
